A really great dinner
We enjoyed a delicious dinner here in a cozy setting. This is reflected in the popularity and the number of guests. The spaetzle and schnitzel dishes were excellent. And the service was friendly and warm. Thank you for a lovely evening.

5€ per litre of water, with a total bill of over 400€?!?
We were here with the whole family and consumed food and drink for around €400. One person of us drank 2 glasses of water. The water was therefore charged at over €5 per litre. We find it disappointing that, for such a high price, tap water is charged so expensively. If you come to the restaurant and only consume water, then sure, but not if you consume other drinks and food in large amounts...

Perfect for a young family
I tried the Hirsch Ragout for 18,90€. It was yummy and soft! I liked it.
The food was quick served as not so many guests coming on that day. The waitress was friendly. Just be aware, as my opinion, the children's menu "Schnitzel" is cheap but in a big portion. It's sad when kids do not eat it all and throw it away. Anyway, the place was clean.
It's a great place to eat for a young family. Children can play a bit on the play ground outside while waiting the food or after eating the food. There is a lake near by, just walk a head up in the junction.
Ps: I was confused when a biker ordered a tab water. After seeing our bill, I knew a bottle of water costs 5,90€! I understand why a German loves beer so much.

Basic but lovely
Room was a basic bunk room, they had upgraded us from a four bed to a bigger 6 bed room, but the location, food & hospitality more than made up, restaurant food was also superb & traditional, staff traditionally dressed, breakfast was more than adequate

Tolles Essen, tolle Einrichtung und herzliche Gastgeber!
Wir haben das Gasthaus eher zufällig entdeckt und uns spontan für heimische Spezialitäten von der Speisekarte entschieden. Sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch war das Essen ein absoluter Genuss – frisch, liebevoll angerichtet und von hervorragender Qualität.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herzliche Mitarbeiterin, vermutlich die Chefin des Hauses. Ihre Gastfreundschaft und Freundlichkeit haben unseren Besuch zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Danke an dieser Stelle, dass auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen wurde.
Auch die Gasträume haben uns sehr beeindruckt. Sie sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Man spürt sofort, mit wie viel Herzblut das Haus geführt wird. Trotz hochsommerlicher 35 Grad konnten wir auf der liebevoll gedeckten Terrasse im angenehmen Schatten sitzen und den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen.
Wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt, dass wir bereits am nächsten Tag zum Mittagessen wiedergekommen sind. Da wir in zwei Wochen erneut im Silbertal sind, steht für uns schon jetzt fest, dass wir wieder einkehren werden.
Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die beiden genussvollen Besuche. Wir freuen uns schon heute auf das nächste Mal und können dieses Gasthaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
