Hotel Nibelungenhof
Hotel Nibelungenhof nalazi se uz obalu Dunava, na 3 minute hoda od središta Tullna i samo nekoliko koraka od muzeja Egon Schiele. Sve sobe imaju kupaonicu i TV ravnog ekrana sa satelitskim programima, a iz pojedinih se pruža pogled na Dunav.

Amazing place
Wonderful family run hotel with amazing breakfast, stunning rooms and very friendly staff. Coffee at breakfast is the best I have had in Austria. We will definitely come back and spend more time in this precious hotel. Thank you very much! Keep up the great work

Not a 4 star hotel! Not recommended
The hotel does not correspond to a 4 star hotel. The room and corridor were dusty/cobwebbed. There was a broken lamp in the room. The bathroom was very small (dirty) and the toilet was not cleaned clean. The outdoor area (terrace) not inviting. There is / as in the entrance area of the hotel / a lot of junk around. The decor (very dark, even the walls) are a matter of taste.
The hotel owner is/was very unfriendly! The reception staff were very helpful. I only asked it on departure who the unfriendly man was at breakfast. Breakfast was mediocre. The water glasses were not clean and the fruit bowl was filled with canned fruit, among other things. The breakfast area is not inviting. It is not covered with cutlery or a napkin/tablecloth. The service at breakfast (The owner) was very unfriendly.
On the day of check-out, I was back in the hotel for a short time in the afternoon and wanted to go to the bathroom. I asked the owner, and he said, Yes, but only briefly. I still asked him if I could please plug my phone in. He said: Yes, but only briefly!
My 12 year old daughter also felt very uncomfortable in this hotel.
I travel a lot / also abroad. I don't usually write reviews, but I have to share this experience. I have never experienced such a disappointment (especially from the owner).

EI BEAUTIFUL HOUSE WITH POTENTIAL 4 STARS NOT JUSTIFIED IN MY OPINION
THE GROUND-FLOOR ROOM ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY CROSSING THE TERRACE SO OUTSIDE THE HOTEL WE COULD STILL ACCEPT. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS HOUSE IS MISSING A CARETAKER WHO CLEANS THE ENTRANCE TO THE ROOM.THE CURTAINS COULD ONLY BE CLOSED WITH EFFORT BY GETTING ON A CHAIR AND THUS CLOSING THE INDIVIDUAL RINGS IF AVAILABLE: NOT VERY NICE IN A GROUND-FLOOR ROOM THAT HAS A WINDOW TO WALK UP TO. THE SHOWER DOOR COULD ONLY BE OPENED WITH EXTREMELY EFFORT BECAUSE THE KNOB WAS MISSING AT THE SHOWER DOOR.THE HOLE IN THE BED LACQUER I TOOK NOTE.EQUALLY THE HANGING HINGES ON THE SIDEBOARD.WHEN LEAVING THE ROOM A GREAT VIEW OF A RUSTED TABLE WITH 2 RUSTED CHAIRS WITHOUT UPHOLSTERY.BEHIND A LARGER COTTAGE FOR BICYCLES. THE LADY AT THE RECEPTION AND THE NEXT DAY ALSO AT BREAKFAST WAS VERY POLITE AND NICE: THE JUNIOR BOSS WAS ALSO POLITE AND FRIENDLY UNTIL I DRAW ATTENTION TO THESE DEFECTS IN PAYMENT. HE IS UNFORTUNATELY IMMUNE TO CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. BREAKFAST WAS SOLID AND GOOD . UNFORTUNATELY, I CAN ONLY RATE WITH 2 STARS. THE LOCATION THEN MAKES A LOT. REGARDING THE RATING OF THE ROOMS I CAN ONLY RATING THE GROUND FLOOR ROOM NO.3

Surprisingly Poor
Bastian was very helpful with the booking process, I was coming over to visit my son who is involved in renovating their family house. So I needed a hotel.
I was also looking at hotels to stay in for my family next year as well as other guests for the big wedding!
Unfortunately I found The Nibelungenhof surprisingly unfriendly other than Bastian. There was an older gentleman behind the desk who definitely did not give any vibes of ‘welcome to Tulln and our hotel’ it was more of ‘I am doing you a favour by letting you stay in my hotel’!!
Another younger person came running after me as I hadn’t stayed fo breakfast, very rude.
I did look in the breakfast room one morning and it did look nice. I don’t know if it would have been worth the money as each day I was being picked up by my son to go out somewhere.
I must say that the shower although gave a nice clean was potentially very dangerous in that is was slippery and not much room to move around without falling!!
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
They need to update it…quirky can be a hazard.

Price-performance is not right at all!
The only positive thing is the central location.
Rooms are very small, hotel extremely noisy (you can hear EVERYTHING from the adjoining rooms), the (presumably) senior chef is very unfriendly, breakfast mediocre.
