Feel-good atmosphere from the start
We experienced a very friendly staff, a tastefully and stylishly furnished hotel, delicious food in the restaurant “ Capricorn”, a great wellness department with perfect massage in the middle of a dreamlike beautiful winter landscape with perfectly prepared ski slopes, an all-round successful ski holiday.

Perfect all round.
We witnessed the Christmas Gala 2025. In addition to culinary highlights and a beautiful supporting program (violinist.....), the soothing friendliness and competence of the employees was particularly noticeable. Everyone was always trying to satisfy the guest.
This is no longer a given in a hotel.
The management and crew is only to be congratulated for this customer-friendliness. Stay the way you are and keep going.

Staying at the Hotel Edelweiss in Obertauern was outstanding from start to finish. The location directly on the slopes is ideal and makes your skiing holiday particularly comfortable – it could hardly be better.
The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and professional. You always feel welcome and well looked after, which contributes significantly to the pleasant atmosphere in the hotel.
The rooms are modern, very clean and cozy, furnished with great attention to detail. The general areas of the hotel are also well maintained and welcoming.
Culinary delights of the hotel are as follows: The breakfast is rich and high quality, the dinner varied and tasteful. A real highlight of the stay.
The wellness area offers perfect opportunities for relaxation after an active day in the snow and completes the overall package ideally.
Conclusion:
A first-class hotel with excellent service, perfect location and high feel-good factor. The Hotel Edelweiss is highly recommended – a place to return to.

We recently had the privilege of spending a few days at the Edelweiss Hotel in Obertauern, a real gem in the heart of the mountains.
This hotel offers impeccable luxury, comfort and exceptional service that has made it our new favourite place to relax.
The hotel is situated right on the ski slope, so we could effortlessly go skiing right from the door.
A bonus was the ski rental service right at the hotel, where we could pick out quality gear without having to find a rental shop nearby.
One of the hotel's biggest draws is its wellness centre . After a day of skiing, we were able to relax in the heated bubble pool while enjoying the spectacular views of the surrounding mountain peaks.
It was also special for me to swim in the swimming pool. It gave us new energy.
But the best part was the gastronomic experience. We were absolutely thrilled with the hotel's restaurant.
Every meal was a culinary treat, with the chef's emphasis on fresh local ingredients.
Breakfasts were plentiful and varied, and dinners consisted of delicious gourmet courses that delighted even the most discerning gourmands.
Both the starters and the main course were works of art on the plate, a treat for the eyes and the palate. And finally, dessert - a sweet delight on the plate.
We loved the spacious children's playroom where our grandson had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
The staff was extremely friendly, making us feel right at home.

In our opinion, the hotel is the perfect place where we found luxury relaxation combined with skiing and wellness and most importantly, impeccable cuisine.
