Erholung in ruhiger Lage

Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere und große Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und sehr guter Tee/Kaffee (in Bio-Qualität von Sonnentor). Nette ruhige Lage, zum Enspannen ideal. Wir waren in einer Gruppe von 5 Personen und alle insgesamt mit dem Angebot zufrieden.

Rather expensive

The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere between fields and the highway, you first drive a long time by car over gravel roads. The restaurant is very expensive and remote. There is hardly anything to do in the area except Lake Neusiedl. For this location it is very expensive - other accommodations closer to the lake are recommended or rather towards Rust where there is also more going on in the village than here. For small meals in the evening you pay relatively much (unfortunately no alternative within reach). Overall rather mediocre experience.

A 3 star hotel in the middle of nowhere

After having some experience with other hotels in the nearby areas of Slovakia and Hungary, I was a bit let down by the experience at this hotel.
It's a 3 star hotel for sure, I thought maybe a 3 star in Austria would be better or closer experience like a 4 star in other countries, but it really isn't. It's a 3 star hotel so you can already manage your expectations.
To me, the hotel gives you an experience of a very big villa in the middle of nowhere, so you get a lot of peace and quiet, and also I can say the experience of arriving to the hotel is different as you keep going on on a very rural road.
There was absolutely no information in English, the staff did speak some English so that was not a problem, but tv and all paper information I could not read, so that was a pity.
I came here for a company training, the room was ok in size and the snacks and drinks provided were great. Since this training was on the middle of August, there was not Air conditioning which made the room hot. And the beamer was quite old, without HDMI connections, luckily one of our colleagues had a laptop that we could use. so keep in mind to bring your own beamer.
Rooms were a dissapointment, I could barely sleep on the bed, which was a single bed, reminded me of my bed back in university days, not comfortable and quite small, I would expect for a single room to at least provide a queen size bed, not a single.
Food so far has been ok, but the options on the menu are quite limited.
The outdoor area is nice for kids with playground and small lake, I do think they would get bored quite fast, but I have also heard we are close to other trails and areas for the family, but this was a business trip so I did not have time.
Overall, I expected more of this hotel.
Finally, the wifi speed was low and spotty, which made some of the presentations hard to handle.

Company training

Beautiful, friendly hotel, comfortable rooms, good kitchen. The hotel is very close to the highway but it's very silent. There are a big garden with a small lake. It's good for relax and for training.

beautiful nature peaceful environment

very nice hotel, each room designed differently - don't expect luxury but individuality and coziness. the area around the hotel offers beautiful nature and is very peaceful. stroll around, do some jogging, pet some horses on your morning walk or take a refreshing swim in the amazing all natural swimming pond. nice finish sauna beside the pond - reserve and enjoy in private with your friends or family. let the day fade out with some delicious food in the restaurant with one of the greatest chefs in the area we have been told. well it tasted like he is : )
