A Blue Water Solution to Renew, Reset & Recover

I returned to the Bahamas for my 5th trip, more places to discover. What remained the same is the wonderful friendly service and clean comfortable rooms that I expect at Sandyport. The front desk staff (Cheralda, Pam & Alex) welcomed me back at check-in and gladly shared updates since my last trip. The resort has rooms to fit a variety of needs and budgets from a classic hotel style, suites with full kitchens and living areas to a studio with kitchenette. Rooms offer bathrooms with shower and tub options as well as plenty of counter space. The resort also features reliable wifi to keep you connected and flat-scene tvs.
Sandyport Beach Resort is located on the western side of New Providence Island where you can leave the world behind. Breakfast is available at the onsite Starfish Restaurant and lunch, snacks and tropical drinks can be found at the pool bar, Da Conch Shack. Once unpacked, grab a frozen drink and snack from Bascom and Mama Tanya or choose your location for a swim and to decompress - poolside, lagoon or ocean. Make sure to try the Conch Salad before you leave.
Seeking an adventure, Lady Sarah is ready with recommendations on local and outer island excursions. There are numerous options from island history tours, dive/snorkel trips, kayaking or sunset dinner cruises. Taxis and the jitney are available for trips to Nassau for shopping, museums and art galleries. Then finish your day in the calm tranquility of the resort or an ocean view dinner at Blue Sail or Poop Deck.
A stay at Sandyport is a wonderful escape from daily life. I will return to this resort again and hope to introduce friends to a Caribbean gem so close to home.

Lovely Resort !!!!

I stayed at Sandyport Beach Resort for my birthday solo trip, and honestly it was one of the best experiences ever. The resort is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, private, and even prettier at night. The staff were super friendly and welcoming ,some of them truly treated me like family, which made the trip even more special.
The rooms are very clean and neat. The resort in itself is so peaceful, quiet, and private which is exactly what i wanted. The pool area was lovely, and the beach was breathtaking. I got some amazing pictures there and really enjoyed just relaxing and taking everything in. The restaurants on the resort were also really good . I ate at Twisted Lime and the food was so tasty.
Another thing I loved was how convenient everything was. It was easy to get transportation off the resort, and booking excursions was simple and 100% worth it. Overall, I had an amazing birthday trip and would definitely stay here again!

Great size, price, and location

My wife and I were looking for a last-minute getaway. This resort was perfect for us. It was quiet and peaceful, with several amenities. The restaurants on-property were very good. The shopping area outside the gate had everything, including several additional restaurants, a drug store, a gym (with daily and weekly rates), and even a Baptist church (We enjoyed the service on Sunday!)!! The Twisted Lime Sports Bar and Grill was my favorite restaurant . . . everything they brought out of the kitchen looked amazing!! It is also a short taxi ride away from more food and activities. The resort staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived very early, so we went out to eat lunch, and they stored our luggage while they finished cleaning our room. Our room was great!! It was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and walked right out onto the beach. The beach was clean, beautiful, and quiet. Housekeeping service was provided daily. The front desk staff even arranged tours and transportation for us. We plan to come back soon and bring more family and friends with us. Sorry, I don't have more photos to add to this review (Most are from the tours.), but the resort photos on the website are real (not AI fakes!). I'll take some on the next trip. If you get a chance to visit, tell Pam we said hello!!

Nice residence hotel but comfort to review.

Residence type hotel composed of several small houses of one floor in colorful wood. Pleasant outdoors with swimming pools and access to a small private beach. We had booked a room on the ground floor. But this one was small, dark and without a real window. To have light and a little ventilation you had to leave the front door wide open... small bathroom without window. Possibility to have breakfast on site. Close to the beach small barracks offering cocktails and fast food but the prices are as high as in a real restaurant... friendly staff working to the rhythm of the Bahamas.

Relaxing Stay

Sandyport is truly a treasure. The location is perfect - atmosphere tranquil, and the staff very helpful. We will definitely visit again.
