We had an amazing time at Atlantis. We stayed at The Reef in a 2 bedroom suite. We had 2 couples with 3 children ranging from 2, 11 and 13. The suite provided ample space for everyone. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the water park as well the beach.

Family fun at Atlantis
If you have kids ages 6 and up, just go. They will love the water park and beach, and you will love the memories made together! The rapids river is fun for everyone. We would go back to the Reef for the kitchen - packed sandwiches in a cooler for lunches at the pool. We also loved seeing the resort cats in the evening. Yes the Reef is a bit of a walk from some things but we enjoyed the walks with the beautiful sights and landscaping.
There was not much in the way of hot water at the Reef, so the cold/lukewarm shower was my only complaint. The local water smell is pretty intense. So must stop and get some bottled water.

Not worth the money
Would not recommend! No towels any day and the the rooms advertised for 4 people because of the sofa bed had no blankets any of the 3 nights I stayed there. They just ran out. Unacceptable for the price paid.

Family party of 6 staying at the Reef. The 2BR was accommodating in size but some basics such as additional blankets had to be requested. The entire resort was clean and in good repair but did feel understaffed. Evidenced by functional rides that did not have attendants and were closed and minimal service staff behind counters throughout. It was a nice place but from having previously traveled to other countries and resorts I expected more for the price of staying there. Not to mention the money it takes to go about your basic day to day activities once you are there. What was most disappointing was the majority of the staff across the board did not seem happy to be there and it didn't really matter to them if you were there or not. In a customer service industry where the customers are paying more to stay at this particular resort you would think there would be an emphasis on the basics such as making the guests feel welcomed and appreciated but there wasn't. I am not expecting the world but how about a smile or at least not acting like the guest is an inconvenience. A couple of notes for awareness, you will need a physical card to cover the $1500 security deposit at check-in, no tap-to-pay option or anything else will suffice. Also, there is an automatic 15% gratuity added to everything, yes, everything. So any tip you add is in addition to the 15% you are already being automatically charged.
