Good value for money
The air conditioning was not working properly and neither was the shower head/bath inverter. Cependanr the hotel well placed, comfortable room, friendly persoonel and convenient paid parking. The price of the room and parking are moderate for a location 25 minutes from the historic center on foot.

Avoid this hotel
Be careful the presentation images on their website dates from the certainly beginning...
In reality the whole well aged and our room la 408 is downright outdated....
Mobility period and damaged , dirty and stained carpet, yellow wall and ceiling with old traces of water leaks.....
The bedding was to our liking... phew!!!
The bathroom is redone! Mouldy bath joints, damaged tap shower pipes too short trembling shelf VMC dislocated list is long
For a 3 star at 192€ the 2 nights for 2 adults there is much better...
We were greeted by a gentleman speaking French.
The hotel is close to shops jewelers transport it is the only good thing ...
We have not tested their breakfast at 16€ per person preferring as often the brewery of the coffee corner croissant juice 12€ for 2...
Parking is free at the weekend so we did not take their parking at 19€ per day...
For diesels and their zfe make a declaration online to be quiet see Antwerp town hall..

Dingy, tired hotel which does not correspond at all to the website pictures and should get 1 or 2 stars not 3. AVOID!
Basically this hotel should be given 1 or 2 stars not 3: it is extremely dated, "tired", poorly furnished, ugly, dingy, and the web site is a total fabrication: The pictures shows a well-lit reception and a cozy lounge in a big space. It is certainly not what you get as everything is dark, small and there is no restaurant, no bar, no laundry service, no proper lounge to relax with friends. Just 2 old sofas and a vending machine from where you can buy some beers and crisps. It looks more like a boarding house than a hotel.
In our bedroom, some lights were broken, our twin mattresses were noisy, lumpy and uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible, also lumpy and shapeless. The shower had no proper pressure and had a very unhygienic curtain instead of a proper screen. You are given 3 towels for 2 people, not 4 and they are very thin and quite worn. The staff is indifferent and not very helpful. The breakfast is more or less adequate but the fruit salad was stale i.e. not made on the day as was some of the bread To top it all up, the price is outrageous for what is really a very poor hotel. The only positive point is that it is well situated, near the station but there are plenty of other hotels nearby so AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Air-conditioning not working, sleep with a fan
staying now in astoria antwerpen. Somthing i never heard till now. In the rating can give minus if there was an option ,Yesterday (23 july 2025) came in the room my air-conditioned not working mosquitos biting. So called the reception they told me i cannot call the technician cause its after 21:00 so gave me a table fan, asked them to fix next day. 24th july Today same thing ,air-conditioning still not working. So asked the reception again , she gave an amazing answer. "I was not there yesterday so i dont know, sorry cant help you". Plus u are asking me late so i cannot do anything .i am here on business so it was my mistake i came late ha ha ha) finally sleeping now with fan. And you gave a 3 stars to this hotel. Why did you propose this hotel. I will never book here again

unbearably uncomfortable
Very tired facilities, especially the air conditioning meaning the rooms were unbearable. On a positive note, the breakfast was half-decent, and it is in a good location for the train station, but overall very little to recommend unfortunately. Probably the first time I've rated anywhere 1 star but had to be. Sorry.
