Antwerp City Trip to enjoy Tall Ship Races
Stay right in the center of Antwerp close to all the events, restaurants, bars ... whilst enjoying the tranquility during the night and breakfast time. Great service that started at check-in (or even before) and continued during the entire stay and all with a smile !

A wonderful retreat in the center of Antwerp!
Antwerp was the first stop on our trip to Flanders; we spent three nights at Hotel Rubens and were completely satisfied, starting from the tastefully furnished room to the service at the reception and during breakfast, the selection at breakfast itself, and the perfect location near the Grote Markt. It doesn't get much more central than this, yet the hotel is very quiet. The only downside was the construction site in the courtyard, where work began on weekdays at 8 AM. However, the hotel made an effort and even provided earplugs. Since we kept the windows closed due to the heat and the - thank God - functioning air conditioning, the construction site did not disturb us at all; in fact, we could hardly hear it.

The hotel is situated in the center of the Grote Market area and all of the restaurants, nightlife are just around the corner. The Maier is just a 5 minute walk away with all of the nice shopping and city activity. The hotel's rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, but it felt like a chain hotel's style of food and options. Maybe try to have some variations on some days. Other than that the stay was wonderful and I would definitely return.

Hotel in a good location, has many features of a business hotel. Varied breakfast with quality products, including fresh juice.
Unfortunately, we were assigned a room with a view of a construction site.
Additionally, there was a sewage smell in the hotel, both in the common areas and in the room, possibly due to ongoing construction.

Desideriamo sottolineare che il cantiere per l’espansione in corso, finalizzata ad ampliare i nostri servizi, costituisce una situazione transitoria; inoltre, le caratteristiche del centro storico, con le sue infrastrutture antiche, possono talvolta generare inconvenienti temporanei durante eventi meteorologici intensi.
Ci fa piacere che la posizione centrale le abbia comunque permesso di esplorare comodamente le attrazioni principali della città, a pochi passi dalla Grand Place e dalla Cattedrale.
Speriamo di avere un'altra occasione per accoglierla.
