Romantic Hidden Gem in the Heart of the City
Stayed at this B&B on a two-night visit to Brussels, and we were completely blown away. This place is magnificent - completely central yet perfectly hidden away; at first we walked straight past it. In the stunning Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, nestled between various chocolate stores, is Theatre du Vaudeville, above which are the rooms and dining room. The room was spacious, simple yet elegant, and amenities such as toiletries and coffee were provided for us. Despite being in the middle of the city, it wasn’t particularly loud when we closed the windows for the night. Only a couple of minutes walk from the central station, and on the doorstep of every shop and restaurant you could want. Though I only saw him once when setting breakfast, Thierry was welcoming and accommodating, providing us information about the city, and a note in both French and English instructing us how to use the elevator and where we could find breakfast. Breakfast was a simple continental spread with meats and cheeses, pastries, fruit, yogurt, bread, granola, juice and water, and a selection of hot drinks, and the dining room had beautiful big open windows overlooking the arcade. The one and only hitch we had was that upon entry to the B&B, there were no lights on in the hallway to the elevator, and no obvious light switch: though with smartphone torches this wasn’t a big issue for us, and may not be a regular occurrence. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, absolutely a hidden gem.

B&B? no rather Air B&B... zero point service!!!
Arriving at the door of the guest room, no one responds to the 2 registered cell phones, nor by SMS as requested, the gallery guard opened the door for us!
Family suite very well located, quiet with superb volumes, peaceful night, coffee and mini-bar available, happiness...
At 9:40 a.m. we arrive in the breakfast room, no one to welcome us and direct us towards the large table not cleared with the dairy products placed on the table at temperature since 1h30 and an empty buffet: no more pastries, no eggs, ham, just a few slices of gouda and salami with industrial baguette from the day before that we had to toast... a gentleman arrives to tell us that we need to find a place at the table, and he returns to his corner where he waits for the clock to tick... I go back to see him so that he can replenish the buffet and there he replies unpleasantly that the customers from before ate everything... (note that there is an excellent bakery below the b&b) we are therefore content with the little that remains without saying anything more apart from notifying the boss by cell phone who will never answer...
at 10:15 a.m. a very angry lady arrives with her cart and shouts "it's finished!!! without even saying hello or even asking us if she could clear...
There is no contact with the owners, the staff is unpleasant and not at all professional, we will not return there again for sure and will file a complaint with Booking where we paid 184 euros for 1 night anyway

An unusual experience but a lack of professionalism from the boss. Address recommended but not guaranteed
For those who wish to stay there: some rooms are above the gallery and the experience is great. You can fully feel the gallery under your windows, it's really unusual, special for a fair price. The rooms are authentic and many little touches (coffee, tea, drinks in the fridge) are offered.
On the other hand, you will have to overcome the moods of the owner (who responds poorly and poorly) and his lack of professionalism and consideration towards his customers as well as those around him. His behavior is downright disrespectful and condescending.

One of the best rooms ever been in the world.
Really nice rooms. The location is super safe and it’s a must place for 2-3 days in Brussels. It is located in the Gallerie de la Reine. Nice decorated rooms and feels more comfy than a usual hotel. I will visit it again for sure.

Location is the best!
First off, not sure why TripAdvisor has this listed as LeVaudeville-Chambres d'Hotes, while Booking.com has it as B&B Vaudeville. It's the same place and caused me much confusion when trying to get a sense of the place.
With that out of the way, as others have noted, this is not a hotel in the traditional sense. It's more like an AirBnB mixed with Bed and Breakfast. So if you prefer a front desk and all the basic amenities of a hotel, this place is not for you.
The room I stayed in was Victor Hugo. It was a pretty big suite with a tub in the bathroom which I made use of having bubble baths :)
Half the lights were working and every day, maybe a new light would start to work, I didn't bother to complain because I only used the room to sleep in, not live in. Granted, if the lights didn't work in the bathroom, I would have complained. But no issues there.
The floors were wooden and squeaked in certain spots. Again, not that big of a deal.
The suite had a fridge and each day they would refill it with water, beer, and soda.
The breakfast was served on the 2nd floor and it was 1 long table where you ate with other guests. It didn't feel too awkward. There were coffee machines with hot water for tea, cold cereal, cold cuts, and croissants. If you wanted eggs, you have to cook it yourself on the stove.
As for finding the place, it was easy to find (if you've read all the reviews here) It's the door under the number 15, located to the left of the Theatre Du Vaudeville.
You need to be in contact with the owners before arriving to schedule a check-in time.
They then let you in and explain some of the nuances.
You get 2 keys. 1 to open the front 2 doors, and 1 to open your room.
You need to use a special code to operate the elevator, going to your floor or the 2nd floor, but just press 0 when leaving the place.
The place itself is located within the Galeries Royales Saint Hubert, which has a bunch of chocolate shops, cafes, and some clothing stores.
There is a Sightseeing and Tour office when you exit the building, to your right. It's literally a few feet away. So that was pretty convenient.
The Grand Place is also close by. It's down the street. 2-5min walk.
If location matters to you and you just need a place to stay, this is a great option. However, if you're more into the hotel experience, look elsewhere.
