A really charming hotel!

A truly charming and ideally located hotel (about ten minutes walk from the historic center). The accommodation is of quality, with deliciously outdated decoration (in harmony with the charm of the city); the breakfast is very varied and plentiful. The information is accurate and the welcome warm. Flower and staff members are really adorable (thank you!!!). In short, the Goulden Vlies is a small hotel well worth knowing ^^

Lovely hotel and staff

We had a good experience in the Guilden Vlies hotel. The owners and staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean/as expected. The hotel is an easy 10 min walk to the centre. The hotel decor is cute in the breakfast room and Iiked the no shoes upstairs rules. Any issues we had were quickly solved. Would love to give 4.5 stars as not perfect but 4 feels unfair.

Charming and cozy hotel.

A charming and cosy small hotel with 8 rooms. We stayed there for 4 nights, the bed is good but the pillows are too big for our taste.
The host Fleur is very nice and helpful,we had to have a taxi 06.30 today when we were going home, Fleur pre-ordered it for us last night and it arrived before the time.
She also prepared breakfast for us, it was a nice gesture. She put out the bread label with our room number on the table, and she made up a dish with onlays and a small mug with juice that stood ready in the fridge, we had not expected but we greatly appreciated it.
Breakfast is simple, but a lot of different bread and is little choice of orders, there are also fresh fruit, berries and yogurt.
We stayed in room 1, and we were happy for then there is only 1 staircase up.
The shoes must be put down, there is a basket for the host room and flip flops you can borrow.
The room was cosy and clean.
We were very pleased with the stay.

Great Hotel near City center

A wonderful Hotel, great Host and beautiful breakfast room with a great Sense for Detail. Also the breakfast was so lovingly prepared we really enjoyed our stay!

Very friendly lady who checked us in. A bit like an aunty greeting us with open arms! Two double beds squeezed into a room but was fine for what we needed.
