Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience and the way guests were treated was surprising.
They refused to check us into the room that had been booked and paid for in advance, and at 11 p.m. they sent us to another city — to a different hotel that was far below the promised standard.
There was no compensation, and not even an attempt to offer similar conditions. This is very unexpected for a hotel that positions itself as a place of a certain level and reputation.
Imagine arriving late at night after a long day, confident that your room is ready — and being told at the reception that you cannot check in. We were simply asked to drive another 30 minutes to a different city.
The most disappointing part was the hotel they sent us to. Instead of the promised clean, cozy room in a well-kept property near the forest, we ended up in a budget place that was poorly maintained and had an unpleasant odor. The room was cold, windowless, and not properly cleaned, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable and uninviting.
We spent the night there feeling completely let down, as if our trust had been misplaced. It was supposed to be the last relaxing stop of our vacation, but unfortunately it spoiled the end of our trip. We returned home tired and disappointed, having lost not only money — since the replacement hotel was cheaper and didn’t include breakfast — but also the comfort and atmosphere we had carefully chosen for our family holiday.
Overall, we felt that the guests’ needs were not treated with the level of care and respect one would expect.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.
