Historical hotel
Nice hotel with historic touch.
Cosy renovated, with some aging here and there that needs refurbishing.
Spacious rooms with TV, coffee machine. Good breakfast but could still be a little more in bread choice. But still enough. No parking space.
Hotel operates with limited staff. Reception mostly unmanned. Enter hotel with code, self check out. But still worth visiting the hotel. Close to center Lier.

We where 2 persons that got a room whit the madras on the floor and the windows cout not open , and no door to the toilet ...

Some rooms disappointing
We had a nice stay with our group of 19 women. With a good breakfast and dinner. But some rooms are disappointing and very small. If the mattresses are on the floor, this may be reported in advance. This was not really appropriate when you know that our group had an average age of over 70 years. In the end it was solved well.

Disappointing experience in a promising location
For work I have to be in Lier regularly, and usually I book the youth hostel. Now I was there with two acquaintances for a business job early the next morning, and we wanted a quiet and reliable hotel close to our workplace. This hotel offered a room for 3 people at 211 euros per night (without breakfast). Then you expect something.
The location is perfect, right in the beautiful old town of Lier. It was just looking for someone at the reception, but the one who helped us was friendly. The suite we got was huge (you can make 4 cozy hotel rooms of that); sterile and impersonal, but spotless. There was a small bathroom and 1 toilet without hand washing facility. There is no minibar, just a minimal amount of instant coffee and tea bags.
That is the positive point. We were confronted with a wedding with techno-dj right under our room until 2am. We pounded out of our beds, the water glasses on the desk vibrated off, a few shelves in the wardrobe vibrated to the beat of the music. The guests sang along more and more exuberantly. When the party was finally over, we still had quite some trouble from guests with a sip, who left the building (exit was under our suite on the street side). We finally managed to sleep for 5 hours, before our alarm went off.
We understand that a hotel wants to give its guests an unforgettable party. But we're also guests. It would have been wise if we had been informed in advance that there would be such a party, then we would at least have known and still had a choice to find another hotel.
In the morning at check-out there was no one present. On leaving the hotel we met another member of staff who was visibly annoyed at hearing our complaint and said: 'Then you should have called, we would have turned down the music.' And that was it. We have filed another written complaint, but have not heard anything more about it.
Court of Aragon has everything in it (the location, the space) to be a great place. But there is still a lot to improve before it becomes a really nice hotel.

Quite OK, but rather expensive!
We are very friendly received and checked in. Although it is a bit crazy without a real desk and not very clear how the door works and such but well, very friendly.
Our room was on the 2nd floor and was the extra large room, indeed, the room and bathroom was very spacious. Cozy though with the wood structures! The bed was okay, but also no more than that. Two iron bases pushed together with a mattress on it.. You don't really expect that in a hotel like that and at that price? For breakfast you have to go outside the corner, also not very pleasant in the morning per se.. And €22 per person is a bit too expensive for our taste.
