Room with ensuite was spacious and clean with it being regularly cleaned during my stay. Staff were helpful, only issue is a lack of parking which adds further cost to the stay and sometimes you hear other guests dogs. I used the indoor pool which is good for a quick splash. Booked a massage which was okay, i think the lady found it tough as I'm 6ft, 120kg. Minutes from the beach and promenade all in all a pleasant stay.

Where’s the kettle?!

I think a 3 & a half score is appropriate. Good rather than average or very good. The hotel had a clean room, 2 single beds, limited hangers no actual wardrobe. And disappointed no kettle & coffee/ teabags etc. Near to the lifts was good. Hotel Situated by tram stop , across from the busy promenade
where we chose to eat the first evening. Our trip was B&B only.A good selection of breakfast items to set you up for a few hours. 2 restaurants inside the hotel. À la carte was pricey but good quality. The other one was quite awful due to a dreadful woman serving with no English and a rude brusque manner. Talking down to a waiter in front of customers was not acceptable. Plus a nightmare with a lady having a shouting match into her phone which went on for awhile. Staff should have been aware of this , clearly would have heard her!! & told her to be quiet. We were given little or no info about the second restaurant where you apparently pre ordered the meal in advance. English translation would have sorted this plus a receptionist should have made us aware of this, they didn’t. À la carte was paid there & then. This second place the meal was charged to our rooms. We found this out at reception where I felt I was bothering the person in attendance. Plus one bill per table plus paying for water each time is ridiculous! A jug on the table would be better & cheaper! Table service outside bar and light bites was pleasant to sit in the sunshine, tho seagulls and pigeons everywhere annoying but used to them wherever I go! Ostend is a nice place to visit plus a trip to Bruges. We had a very friendly taxi driver, she took us further into the town and brought us back to the hotel. Busy hotel where I’m sure a lot of British tourists must visit, clearer information in English would be beneficial. Overall with a few misses a pleasant stay in Ostend.

Great location

Just come home after a 4 night stay. location of the hotel is very good, near to bars, beach, railway station. Atmosphere in the hotel is really good staff are great, Rooms are a good size, plenty of fresh towels, would of been nice to have had a kettle in the room for a early or late cup of coffee. Room was very clean. Noise level was minim Food was excellent we were on a couch tour and evening meals were very good and a variety of dishes server each night, breakfast was also excellent. This is the second time we have stayed here and would recommend it. The staff are friendly and work really hard.

Very good first experience

Very well located. Building itself doesn't look much but the inside is very well renovated. Large room, perfect bathroom. I would just welcome a kettle, two cups and some teabags.
Perfect breakfast. Very nice staff.
Very nice spa and wellness; just useful to remind families in the 'bathing suit area' that kids should keep quiet.
My daughter and me just wanted to rest on the beach and in the sauna: that's what we got :-).
Will surely come again!

All perfect, great breakfast, nice wellness centre

Everything was perfect. Big bright, modern and clean room, kind and clear staff, amazing breakfast, with a lot of choice between savoury and sweet. I like the wellness centre, it has a broad variety of saunas, hammams, jacuzzis and relaxation rooms, is divided in naked and not naked, was not very crowded, and you can use it even on the checkout day. The location is very practical in Ostende, close to a tram stop or just a few minutes by foot from the central station and a few steps from the seafront.
