Really comfortable and enjoyable
We returned for a one night stay at Spa and had a very comfortable suite in the old part of the hotel, with sunny views downhill and a large amount of space that made us wish we could stay for many more days. The bar served delicious limoncello spritzes and we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant. The staff were all immensely helpful and kind and they helped us when our son had left his sponge bag behind on an earlier visit. It was waiting for us on arrival. We greatly look forward to returning very soon.

Awful
Disgusting experience at Radisson Blu Balmoral. Checked a mother with a 1-year-old child into a filthy, uncleaned room after an 8-hour drive. Denied basic food for a toddler at breakfast because 'there is no chef'. Manager offered free drinks as a solution and called me entitled. Absolute nightmare for €800, feels like a €50 motel.

Avoid at all costs!
I am staying there at the moment, we had the weakness of booking a premium room for three days. We are used to booking Radissons (Dunkirk, Liège, …)
What a disappointment when seeing the "premium" room with faded finishes, a safe that does not work, and the nice little touch, when returning around 11:00 PM I had the bad idea of wanting to take a shower and surprise, no hot water.
The staff tries to do their best but when you give them leaky boats….
Well below the quality of a 4-star Radisson.

Basic bedrooms with uncomfortable beds. I contacted the front desk about this especially because my bed kept moving and my pillows were falling between the gaps. No alternative provided. Also, I kept going down to reception for basics — water, bathrobe, slippers etc
The leisure facilities downstairs added a nice touch to what was essentially a standard experience. Breakfast at €26 is a total ripoff!

We expected better from a Radisson hotel, but unfortunately our stay was average. Check-in took almost 30 minutes because only one receptionist was on duty during the busy 3–4 pm period, although she was friendly and did her best. Our family room was fine nothing special, but comfortable enough. Housekeeping was excellent: always cheerful, friendly, and helpful. The biggest disappointments were the pool and breakfast. The pool wasn't very clean (we found quite a bit of hair in the water), and at breakfast we were given dirty plates and used cutlery. The selection was also very limited and didn't look particularly hygienic. Overall, the staff were fantastic and deserve credit, but the hotel needs better management and higher cleanliness standards to live up to the Radisson name.
