Great hotel

This is a excellent hotel and one I see more for business and professionals rather than happy family’s. The hotel has a high end feel to it and a bit detached and professional service, perfect for business. A good room, nice pool and gym. A great buffet for dinner!!! All you can eat of the best food ..
It’s not really in any tourist location, being next door to the very large teaching hospital, and a good 10 mins walk to the metro, which will take 20 mins (and 4 euro fee) to get to down town grand place.

Well located but should take better care of its guests. Minimal service.

Very good location in a quiet neighborhood.

Open bathroom with no door.
Charging €50/night for a small dog without even providing a bed and a bowl is truly excessive. It is better to refuse pets if you are going to neglect them.

Nice quality good location

Nice hotel close to airport in silent area. Very nice breakfast you can try Asian and European food.
Good choices for lunch. Very nice rooms and spacy beathroom. I regret I had no time to use swimming pool
I enjoyed several nights. Good place. International service

A disappointing experience.

If you stay at the Tangla, expect to be disoriented. Everything there is Chinese, from the decor to the shop, even the pre-programmed televisions.
As for the rest, we had a suite with a ridiculous layout where the toilet practically sits in the center of the room (actually in the center of the bathroom open to the room). The bathroom has an oversized shower but only one small sink. Another absurdity: the opening and closing of the curtains is electric but leaves a gap in the center that is impossible to block out.
The desk has a strange and impractical design. Then, there are a multitude of switches and incomprehensible lighting combinations (it is impossible to turn on a night lamp without turning on another light). Additionally, on the first night, we had to call the service to turn off one of the lights. After opening the electrical panel without success, we ultimately had to remove the bulb!
And finally, on the last night, the room had not been cleaned since the morning, and upon our arrival at 11:00 PM, we had to call the service, which arrived without apologizing and with a frown. Another thing at checkout, there was no gesture of goodwill either.
Another thing, if you are still not discouraged, avoid parking in the crowded lot charging €25 per day and look for a spot on the street.
However, if you walk, be careful of the parking barrier that could close on you!

I have been going to this hotel for the past 8 years. It is sad to see that it has not been maintained at all. The carpets need upgrading, the rooms need new paint, the washrooms have rusted mirrors, and the cabinets are all chipped. This is no longer a 5-star hotel. Also, the lovely breakfast buffet now has these horrible machines that do coffee and sludge water for tea, forcing the client to get their coffee/tea but delivering badly tasting water and coffee. Why would you place two of those machines in a 5-star hotel? TThe breakfast bufeet is no onger an mazing buffett. This used to be such a good hotel, and now it is just another normal, shittified hotel. This no longer represents Chinses hospitality. Shame on you
