"Un-Belizable" Island resort - 10/10 recommend
Prana Maya should receive 10 stars! Wow! From the staff welcoming us on the dock as our boat pulled in, to the delicious food, to personalized and friendly exceptional service, to the incredibly clean rooms, every minute at the island resort was top notch. The atmosphere is serene, nature and wellness focused, and seamlessly one with the environment. We stayed in a room in one of the villas with ocean side balcony, privacy, natural light, and excellent air condition that was welcomed after a hot day exploring. Location was a bit of an adventure -- I would highly taking a Tropic Air hopper plan from Belize City. Prana Mya then coordinates the short 10 min shuttle to the Placencia pier and the 2 minute boat ride to the island and through the lagoon. The plane to the shuttle to the boat was an adventure to itself. Its the perfect place to either chill and do nothing or take on some activities at the resort like yoga, sound bath, spa (amazing massage!), stand up paddle boarding, and pickle ball. I can not recommend this resort enough. We will be back!

Bucket List Belize Girls Trip
Location was beautiful more for a girls trip. Resort was beautiful & relaxing. The food is a different story it was ok no seasoning, not hot & portion size was terrible. I spent $514 for the 6 days I was there. The drinks was watered down & I know next time I would stop at a liquor store & get my own. The customer service is excellent Vendetta & Cynthia were so sweet. If I was to book again I would definitely go through Vendetta professionally at its best. Belize was on bucket list & I’m so grateful it was completed. I will be coming back & trying other areas in the spring. ✌& blessings Belize

The location is beautiful with access to the resort via a private cove on the island and the entire "view" from the resort facing the ocean. Food, staff and service was great. We will definitely recommend the resort to friends and would stay again.

Wonderful
We had a wonderful week's stay and, like other reviewers, can't say enough about how much we enjoyed ourselves.
Quick highlights:
+ First and foremost, all the very friendly, and helpful staff.
+ Spacious, well appointed room with very comfortable king bed and balcony with ocean view.
+ Hotel restaurant, pool, little beach, shuttle-boat and other amenities were excellent and made for a luxurious and relaxed five-star vacation.
I'm summary, one of the nicest places we have stayed.

The Kindest Hospitality Team EVER!
Prana Maya was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, but what made the stay especially memorable was the people. From my initial site visit through our company’s retreat, the kindness of the entire team stood out immediately and became one of the main things our attendees continued talking about afterward. Every interaction felt warm, genuine, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive.
The setting feels peaceful, private, and thoughtfully designed without being overly pretentious. There is such a sense of calm and ease woven into the entire property. What I especially appreciated was how intentionally connected everything felt to Belize itself — from the native palm fronds on the palapa and natural materials used throughout the design to the local food, textures, and decor details sourced from the island. It never felt like a resort that could exist just anywhere. The entire stay felt deeply connected to the beauty and culture of Belize in a way that made it incredibly special and memorable.
What really elevated everything were all of the tiny touches and thoughtful details the team incorporated along the way. You could tell there was so much care behind everything they did, and those details made all the difference in making guests feel welcomed and taken care of.
A special thank you to Ginny, Rebecca, Darwin, Polly, and Claire for their kindness, responsiveness, and care throughout the entire process. They are absolute pros. Coordinating a group stay is no small task, and they made everyone feel incredibly supported from start to finish.
