Best stay for backpackers in San Ignacio!

I stayed at Bella’s Backpackers in San Ignacio for 4 days and had a great experience.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and check-in was flexible and easy. The hostel was well organized overall, and the doors locked with different codes, which made everything feel secure.
There are daily activities you can sign up for, which is perfect if you do not have any plans yet or want to meet other people. The hostel offers lots of great options, such as waterfall visits, Maya ruins, ATM cave tours, different day trips, dinners, beer pong, tattoos and more.
The room was cleaned daily, and depending on the season and availability, it may also be possible to extend your stay quite flexibly.
Overall, it was a top experience and I would definitely recommend staying here!!

One of the best hostels I’ve ever been in

Absolutely love this hostel!!!!!!
Great location and phenomenal rooms! I have stayed in lots of hospitals and I’ve got to say this is top three.
There are outlets at every bed as well as AC and privacy curtains. The bunkbeds are sturdy, and the mattresses are comfortable. It also felt very clean, which is not something I’m used to in hostels. The pricing is also a huge plus!!!
And the bathroom felt clean, which is so important and not very common in hostels
I cannot recommend this place enough

Great hostel!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bella’s Backpackers! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was so welcoming. Amber was incredible – she went out of her way to recommend things to do and see, and she was always ready to help with anything we needed, solving any little issues with ease. The staff as a whole were super friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s the perfect spot for travellers looking for a friendly, social hostel experience in San Ignacio.

Great hostel in San Ignacio

This review is really for Pedro. He made me feel so welcome when first arriving in Belize/San Ignacio - it set a great feeling for the rest of my trip. His hospitality in the hostel bar set up a great environment to base a lot of fun experiences from. The rest of the hostel staff was awesome too.
Only thing I would ask for is better water pressure in my room’s shower… but I don’t know if you’re really allowed to ask for that at this price point . This was a great place to stay in San Ignacio.

Great hostel

Loved my stay at Bella’s. Stayed in a private room and I do not regret choosing this place. The team was always super helpful and provided the information that I needed. The bed was confy and the place is always super lively. The a/c was a plus that made the stay feel just like a hotel. + Paydro the bartender who serves the 7@8 rhum punch!!!!
