Overpriced, underperforming

I was really let down by my stay here sadly. The check in and check out were very smooth, perhaps because both involved taking money from me. However my room door did not lock electronically so anyone could walk in at any time. I reported this on my first morning to front desk and nothing was done. The mini bar was not stocked on arrival with one drink out of date. I also reported this and nothing was done. The result was that I spent my two full days in my room as I could not leave my valuables somewhere that was so easily accessible.
Breakfast is absolutely not worth the price. There is a range but nobody is going to eat enough at breakfast to cover the cost of it. Also, despite being there early the 'hot' options were invariably cold.
I did go to the gym and to order food from the bar. The young woman at the bar (her name escapes me but I believe it starts with 'apoph-) was very helpful and polite. Once food was ordered I retreated to my room. A simple sandwich took an hour when I was told it would be twenty minutes.
Another bright point is the pool area, it sis far nicer than the pictures here show. Such a shame I was unable to use it because, again, my door did not lock.
It would be a fair point to suggest I could have made more fuss but as a stranger in a strange country I did not feel welcome and my focus was on leaving as soon as I could. My leaving flight was at 13:30 and I went to the airport at 09:00.
