Actually great place. Good rooms. Poor kitchen. Great restaurant.

Location is great, central in town but at the same time it spacious, ample, green,among gardens.
Staff is kind but mostly absent. You are left with rooms that are basic, if not great.
Toilets are not great.
Kitchen is actually bad.
There is a good, cheap vegetarian restaurant that opens at the center of the gardens where the hostel is. Great food, specially for the price.
Prices are really good.

Awful

It seems like whoever’s in charge doesn’t care much about the place or the service. They made me wait for half an hour for no reason to check-in. My bed was creaking, swaying, and essentially falling apart, and me and the guy on the lower bunk were seriously worried that it might break. You even have to get a tiny breakfast and toilet paper at the reception. WiFi didn’t work after 6-7pm. The only decent thing was the courtyard

Go anywhere else

Small and dirty room, the bed is more a piece of wood than a mattress, "bathroom" lacks toilet paper ( you will have to buy yours!!) and privacy.
Had to wait outside to check in for an hour because it was too early, terrible staff, internet barely works, and, of course, cockroaches...
Definitely not worth the price, I just wish I checked reviews before booking this (thankfully for one night only)

All you got to do.... Is don't

We thought Bolivia was supposed to be cheap, so when we paid 30 U.S. here we expected a really nice stay. It turns out that it was worth maybe 15, and that's being generous. Poor mattress, dimly lit, burn or freeze shower, subpar breakfast that didn't start until 9.

Better not stay here

We arrived here early in the morning, say 7 am. When we arrived we could go into our room directly, which is nice. We often arrive early due to the buses and most time we our lucky we can already enter our rooms. This was also the case at Nawpa.
When we entered the room we noticed that there were no windows in it and moreover was full of mosquitoes (we killed over 35 and still there were flying). When we took a shower the only choice was steaming hot or freezing cold. The bathroom was not in a good condition (toilets were broken). It was hard to sleep here since there is a big club next to the hostel and we could freely enjoy this music until 7 am. Furthermore, a room full of mosquitoes is either not good for your sleep.
Then in the morning at 7:15 we heard a hard bonking on the door; it was the owner asking us to check out. It was hard to communicate since they do not speak English, but I think she wanted to say that we were 24 hours in the room so that we had to check out (I never experienced this in 6 months travelling). Without hesitating we left and moved to the really nicer Chaski hostel in the same street.
I would never stay here (again).
