Felt comfortable

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, nice, clean rooms. The hotel is in the middle of town but still quiet. Everything is within walking distance. We were there for a wedding, the hall was very nice and big. Breakfast is OK, something for everyone. Price for a double room was also OK.

Not a safe place to stay

This hotel isn’t a safe place. In and around the hotel there are several drug addicts asking guests for money and trying to get your luggage. They also approach you when you’re having breakfast, asking for money. I mentioned this a few times at the hotel staff, but they all thought it was pretty normal behaviour.
No one of the staff speaks English. Communication with the receptionist is going through a translation app.
Room was spacious, but the bathroom was very small. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. No soap nor other amenities available in the bathroom.
TV and WiFi aren’t working well and are often losing connection. Not all electricity points in the room are working, which makes it impossible to charge your phone. The safe in the room wasn’t working and the hotel didn’t offer a solution for this.
Rooms aren’t soundproof, there’s a lot of noise coming from the corridor.
The curtains are too small for the windows, while opposite the hotel there are many houses and apartments, so there’s no privacy at all.
Breakfast buffet wasn’t good, especially the coffee was revolting.

Very nice hotel

It was renewed and everything is as good as new. The receptionist offered a sauna which I had no idea exists at the hotel since I only intended to get a place to spend a night. Next time I have to try something from the spa offer, it sounds interesting.
The fun fact is that there is a fountain just outside the hotel, which sounds just like rain, and every time I get out I reach for my umbrella because the weather was grey and the sound of the fountain tricked me to think that it was raining :)

No change since 5 years

I am since 9 years working in Bijeljina and overnight around 8-10 days every week. The old Hotel Drina was awful. Following the reconstruction I was very hopeful.
I tried it 3 years before and cancelled from my list since the guest internet was not working and management refused to support me from their net although I had a vital job.
Yesterday I tried it second time and noticed no significant change. Reception does not speak English (thanks to god I learned Serbian in last 8 years.) Rooms are small and not well maintained if considered they are not too old. You are welcomed by a stressing list in room which indicates your obligation for payment in case you damage anything in the room and feel yourself like you are forced to read the penal code when entering a country. I asked for a short late checkout. After long time of not understanding each other, she insisted to charge immediately 20% for one hour late and it was very difficult to inform her this is not acceptable and I will have leave hotel in time.
If you like stress don’t hesitate to use it.

Great Price and Location

This hotel was centrally located and walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. You can also walk to the bus station. The hotel was very clean and professional. The receptionist spoke English well. The breakfast was enjoyable and abundant. The bed was large and comfy in the suite we booked. This was a great accommodation.
