Good service, central location

This hotel is great for vacation, in the city center of Sarajevo. The staff is friendly and nice, our room was spacious and clean. They serve very good typical Bosnian breakfast. We would love to come back one day.

Many shortcomings: at most two stars!

We encountered extremely small rooms without a normal window (one must be about 6'3" tall to be able to close it again). Even the (strangely larger) bathroom has no window. In the middle of the bathroom was a drain, which was sealed with tape. The toilet paper is practically unreachable from the toilet, even for people with long arms. The bathroom ventilation is extremely unpleasant and noisy.
One searches in vain for a place for the suitcase or even a suitcase bay; the entire furnishings are extremely sparse and outdated. Even in an Ibis hotel, one stays in a more elegant manner.
Positive: the many power outlets, a good mattress
Negative: miserable cheap foam pillows. At night, one is disturbed by two signal tones while trying to fall asleep: one disappears occasionally and almost immediately reappears, while the other is a constant annoyance.
Before 5 AM, one is awake again because the 'blackout' does not live up to its name at all. This is only suggested with paper slats at the skylight and does not serve its function.
Acoustically: Seagulls and pigeons seem to be right in the room (despite the closed window!).
For breakfast, several days old rolls were served that failed to provide any enjoyment. The fresh croissants were extremely hot and doughy-sticky, which also prevented any enjoyment from them. At least there was green tea, but no bacon. Unfortunately, the fresh fruit salad arrived later, causing some to miss it.
In conclusion: the only real plus is the good location in the old town.

The front desk staff here are amazing. Super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother for them. The rooms are nice and the bed comfy. Perfect location, in walking distance to all the sights. Only 4/5 due to conditionnod some areas e.g. carpet in rooms. But this didn't affect my stat.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Sahat. The room was clean and the location is very central. Wifi was very fast. The best thing in the Hotel was breakfast. We really enjoyed it.

Fantastic, great locations, great staff, nice room, comfy bed. Shuttle servuce from airport is a bonus if you arrive late evening.
Will definitely be back and definitely recommend.
