I tried to cancel to avoid no-show, but only found delay and confusing information. No real help. I do not recommend.

I tried to cancel my reservation in time to avoid no-show charges, but the service was just awful. Confused care, unprepared and with a total lack of interest in helping. I felt disrespected as a customer. I do not recommend this hotel.

Good, but not standard Mercure

Nice hotel, but don't expect a Mercure standard. Located very close to the shopping, on an avenue of easy access to the road. It's a good hotel, clean room, good shower. Beds ok, pillows ok; acoustics of the rooms is not cool. It's a good hotel to spend the night, but it's not a Mercure.

Good hosting

The hotel offers good accommodation, with everything you need: good room (bed + bathroom) and breakfast. There is parking, but it is tight, so it doesn't fit large cars, and people don't park properly in the space, so I preferred to leave the car parked on the street, in front of the hotel, as I didn't consider it a risky location. The breakfast is good, it's not one of those hotel breakfasts that we say “wow”, but it meets what we need: fruit, cold cuts, bread, coffee, juice, eggs and simple cakes. Polite employees. The hotel is close to one of the city's exits, but also close to the citadel's shopping mall, which ends up being a good option for a walk, lunch and dinner.

expensive and bad!

I had the bad luck to be in Araraquara when there were many events and no accommodation was available. So I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Araraquara by Mercure.
It was the most expensive hotel but very poor in comfort and services compared to the hotels where my colleagues stayed.
No swimming pool! when in Araraquara there are temperatures of 35-40ºC.
The room was minimal and with a very bad design: no wardrobe doors, hanging space where trousers and dresses touched the bottom, towels of very poor quality,
The room was only cleaned 1 day out of 4 and without soap.
The receptionist at night was very unfriendly when I asked for at least towels and told him that they had not done the room.
In short, expensive and bad!
