Recommended Pousada

Simple, clean, very comfortable inn with a location that makes it perfect.
The best? the cafe da manha. Complete, very rich, looking at the sea in praia do Armacao, and an incomparable Brazilian music background. Open to the public for breakfast, don't miss it.

We felt at home.

It is a wonderful 5 out of 5 excellent location, very good breakfasts , the attention was very nice from all the members, they made you feel at home and willing to help you always!
We'll be back!

Great location.

We really liked it, good location, good breakfast, good service. All very clean, quiet, nice and economical. The owner speaks Spanish and Portuguese, got us the boat trip at a better price than the companies that are on the internet. Really recommended.

needs major upkeep

The location of the pousada is great. The staff did the best they could, they are very nice. However the pousada is just not in the greatest shape. We had the master suite, the nicest room in the pousada and even it just wasn't kept up. It has some charm, Ill give it that, and its hard for me to write a negative review. But the balcony door didnt close all the way, the bathroom window didnt close at all, despite that, we felt safe, but the large gaps allowed for bugs. We had a small roach, lots of ants and a lizard in the two days we were there. The mattress under the sheets looked at least 20 years old, frayed and stained. The upkeep of the property is also poor, the hot tub has no water and looked like it didnt for a very long time. And I won't even get into the story of how I booked the room on Orbitz and when we first showed up they had no record of our reservation and said they never heard of orbitz, despite the fact I had my printed confirmation in my hand! Unfortunately I just cant recommend this hotel nor could I stay there again.Its too bad, it really has potential!

Location is awesome. Owners are very nice, but conditions of bed and TV were bad. Also, house keeping didn't change our towels even though I put them on the floor. Apparently they don't give clean towels even if you stay longer ( we stayed 4 nights). So after second day we had to use damp towels. Comforter was full was yellowish stains. TV is very old. Bed is very uncomfortable. When it rains water leaks into the ceiling. Breakfast was Continental and good.
