Classical Surprising

The oldest hotel in continuous operation in the country, with 141 years in operation. Historic and well-maintained building. In hotels such are common the smell of lof, the aging of the facilities and being all very dark and unpractical. In this hotel not. what is old is well kept, clean, the building is nice and sunny. Great pools, even the small closed and heated. Very attentive Service, well-humored. Breakfast with little variety but well made. Spacious room, clear, reasonably airy. As a reservation, only the standard room bathroom that asks for refund. The location is the best possible, car only to go to the mirante or exit the city.

Reasonable... neither good nor bad...

Not good, but TBM is not bad.
Old hotel but preserved as far as possible. Bed linen needs to be updated, especially the blankets, from the time of the Empire.
Air conditioned wall of the last century.
But the shower is very good and relaxing. Hot water in abundance.
Pleasant heated pool.
Old and helpful employees. Very kind.
Simple breakfast and nothing glamorous. I didn't even have mining cheeses...
Just a simple cheese bread...
Fruits, ham and cheese and 2 cake options.
That's why the "median" score tends to be lower.

Great accommodation

We loved the room we were placed and when he gave a.ptoblema in the light we were promptly served by the very friendly staff. Breakfast with various cakes and options of colds and fruits. We arrived at 6am and the manager already sent us to have coffee before entering the room that was already ready. Cleanliness score 10 and very polite maids. It's worth going back

Princess Day

I was at the beginning of November at the Hotel, I became aware that it is the oldest active Hotel in Brazil!
The place is well airy, keeping old decoration of the season, the rooms super spacious and clean! In addition, there is a spectacular shower in the bathroom!!
Breakfast worthy of king! Try the cheese bread!!

The staffs are friendly, the place is clean and its feel likes the old Lisbon which makes sense since it’s still in operation for 140 years. Everything is in walking distance and I feel safe. I especially love that’s it close to the park that have the mineral water.
