Great hotel for those who want to stay well located with a fair price

Hotel in the city center, close to markets, pharmacies, gas stations, restaurants and bars. By car, it is 20 minutes away from the falls and the bird park. Covered parking with no addition to the daily rate. Hotel with swimming pool, clean rooms and bathrooms, air conditioning working well, excellent minibar, not to mention the complete and delicious breakfast. Quiet and safe region. Attentive and polite staff.
If I had any observations, not complaints, just observations for those who are staying, it is that there is no elevator, perhaps because it is an older building, so if you have any mobility problems and cannot stay on the ground floor, it might be an obstacle.

Reasonable

Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was not positive. The room was poorly cleaned, with hair on the floor, dust accumulated on the counters and pretty dirty windows. The place, in general, seems to be poorly cared for, which conveys a sense of loose with the customer.
For the value paid, I expected more, the cost-benefit definitely does not pay off.
The electric shower worked well and it was hot, but I got a shock trying to handle it.
The bed also left to be desired: the lining was stacked and misplaced, I couldn't put it in a comfortable way. The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable, which further compromised the quality of rest.
The breakfast was reasonable, with varied options, but the juices were extremely sweet, impossible to take.
Another negative point was the constant noise during the dawn, apparently coming from a nearby bar. To make it worse, the air conditioning in the room made a lot of noise, making it difficult to sleep.
I hope these points are considered by the administration so that they can improve the experience of future guests.

Low cost benefit.

Old hotel. In the room I stayed in, the telephone cord was cut. Old beds, small pillows. Electric shower even works well. Simple but reasonable breakfast. The service provided by the staff is attentive.
I particularly didn't like the value for money. The daily rate doesn't match the service provided.

Great stay and great value

This place is great value. Staff are very helpful and the rooms are a good size with basic needs (including a refrigerator and air cond).
Good hot showers, clean soft bead and a great Brazilian breakfast in the morning. I believe it even has a pool, but I didn't use or see it.
Shows as 2 or 3 stars on some sites but its a great value place (and certainly 3+) in an area where prices seem inflated for tourists.
Short walk to a large supermarket (which also has a super cheap bistro attached- pay be weight). Brief walk to many restaurants and cafes (or about R$7 in an Uber).
Would certainly stay there again

Great hotel, great cake for breakfast!

I stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights in early June.
Plus:
+ Spacious and clean room with three beds (me being the only occupant) and good A/C
+ Big and clean bathroom with a great hot shower (towels, soap and toilet paper provided)
+ Friendly and helpful reception staff; even though both their English and my Spanish (no Portuguese) were limited they successfully answered all of my questions
+ Crazy breakfast buffet, including lots of fruit and 4-5 different sorts of cake every morning! (Plus breadrolls, cheese, ham, cereal, and all the usual breakfast stuff)
+ Convenient location -- the bus stop to the waterfalls and to Argentina is a 10-minute walk away, as well as a big Supermarket, whilst the bus stop to Paraguay is right at the front door of the hotel
Minus:
I liked this hotel very much, there were no major drawbacks. But if I have to name something, it's this: my room was rather dark because the window opens to a sort of ventilation shaft. But most tourists don't stay in Foz do Iguazu for the hotel views, anyway!
I can't say anything about the swimming pool because I didn't try it.
