Unique Experience

Period from 19/07 to 22/07 + 1, the guest house has a sensational look, very green and pure air, coffee from the manha with many options (miner cheese, goiabada and sweet milk give a touch to more ), extremely clean and organized rooms, (both capricho that clean up to the fireplace that used the night before), the facilities are 2 decks perfect for a wine at sunset, covered heated pool and sauna, Another differential is the spa service, with relaxing massage, attentive and very helpful Funcinarios, Outstanding for collaborator Miguel (excellent guide, native of the city indicates the best restaurants and attractions) and to finish has the cat Vicente who always makes a visit to the guests.

Pousada pertinho from the center of Monte Verde, with excellent quality! All very attentive, cozy environment and a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back! ❤️

Daily too expensive for what the guesthouse delivers

We chose the Pousada das Cerejeiras for a trip in two couples and, considering the high value of the daily, we expected a special, cozy and romantic experience. Unfortunately, the first impression was of disappointment.
Our room looked old and outdated, with old furniture and little concern for coziness. The bathroom and the bath area were covered almost entirely with white tiles, leaving the environment very cold and with an appearance that reminded us more of a hospital than a romantic guesthouse in Monte Verde.
Nor did we find the common areas very inviting, besides there are several narrow stairs. The reception on arrival could have been much better. We paid the same price as our friends, but we received a clearly lower room, and the employee who served us could not explain why.
It was quite frustrating to come on a trip between friends and we all got that feeling of: “Did we pay for all that?” Mostly because we already stayed in Monte Verde in cheaper places, much more charming and cozy.
The positive points were the air-conditioned inverter, which heated the room very well, and especially the breakfast, which is excellent: capricious, varied and served in a beautiful atmosphere.
Overall, however, we do not think that the experience justifies the price of the daily. For this value range, we expected a much higher standard of accommodation and service.
