A dream

The place is beautiful, the guesthouse itself is already a viewpoint to fantastic landscape, everything very beautiful and well cared for and attention of the staff makes you feel at home. The breakfast is great, the bed very comfortable. There were only positive points. The location is also great, close to restaurants, cafes and neighbor to the happy village.

Restaurant O Moinho

My rating is about lunch at the restaurant Moinho, located inside the Pousada Pedra Grande.
I was there on 20/07/2025 and left with the feeling of being assaulted. The food is extremely simple for the prices they charge. I ordered a pasta in the Bologna sauce and received a package of pasta with ground meat for R$73.00. When the dish arrived, so graceless and poorly presented, I was hard to believe.
My wife ordered a fillet, which came without taste, accompanied by a watered rice and spicy potatoes. A real waste of money.
I know the hostel well and frequent the Cabana, where the prices are fair and the food is tasty. The restaurant Moinho was a big disappointment. I do not recommend.

Very pretty and expensive.

The Inn is located between Serra de São Bento and Monte das Gameleiras. The Inn has a fantastic exterior structure with a breathtaking view. If you are a wheelchair driver or have difficulty moving, do not stay here as there is no accessibility (many stairs, no access ramps). However, the rooms leave to be desired in the matter of cleaning (were very dusty) and organization. They need to be reformed urgently, especially the ceiling wood. When we arrived, I noticed that there was only one desk; I had to ask for another, which was served. The room does not have a place to put the clothes, having only an arara. Conclusion, the clothes had to stay inside the bags on the floor. The room does not have a whole body mirror, although it has space to put it. Bedding and bathrobes are good, but pillows are very low. There are no sockets near the bed and the light switches stay away from the bed. Curtains are rustic clothes that let the light pass and as soon as the sun rises, illuminating the whole room. As for the restaurant, we dined there two nights and the food was OK. The service is amateur and some items are missing from the menu (when we went there was no bread for the hamburger). However the price is a bit high for what they offer. The breakfast is very good. In short, the set is expensive for what it offers. Not worth the cost benefit.

Our experience at Pousada Pedra
Grande was very positive. The place is beautiful, clean and with a beautiful view of the mountains. The employees do everything they can to improve the experience by serving guests with excellence. The breakfast was extraordinary with excellent variety. The inn is very structured and transports us to Holland in a playful way, the inspiration for the construction of the place. And what about the place's mascot, the Golden Retriever Chico. My daughters loved it and all they talked about was
In him. We took lots of photos and will save the unforgettable experience at Pousada Pedra Grande for posterity. Congratulations to the owners and all the hotel staff.
