Hotel Rochedo, a good surprise on the way

Very good hotel, good location, with very attentive staff, who knew how to inform us about the city, the best tours and made our days better!
The room was large, comfortable and the enxoval new. Breakfast well presented and tasty. We won a package with message and cookies in commemoration of the 3 years of operation of the hotel. We love it!

Simple hosting

The service is excellent. The staff is well prepared and attentive. However, some issues have left much to be desired. The room is very bright, the curtains let in a lot of outside light. We spent three days and none of them had room service. Breakfast is very simple.

Good cost benefit

A good hotel, has an excellent cost benefit. Simple structure, but neat. The rooms are new, well equipped, including with smart TV. The bathroom has a shower and the box has two dispensers, one with soap and another with shampoo/conditioner, facilitating the bath. Breakfast has a good variety of foods.

Disappointing

The hotel is beautiful, reception staff friendly, but the elevator is awful, it seems to be going to fall, the beds are extremely tough, pillows are very low and breakfast to be desired: good cakes, egg mixed good, but the service was bad, at 8:10am there was no more cheese bread and caju juice. I asked for the sandwich and the assistant said it was broken for a long time...

Not matching the pictures

I didn't like this hotel.
Chosen and booked through a tourist agency.
Location without any special charm
When we arrived, we already found it weird because the hotel is at the top of a building material store. As it is a corner, the photos you have on the site do not show the other side where the store is located.
The rooms they offered us had no window, they were tiny, with a super small bed, I don't even know if it is possible for a hotel to have this type of accommodation. The elevator is also pretty weird, half out of plum.
We complained at the reception and offered us rooms with window without paying the difference, but these others had a strong smell of glue and paint, I don't know if they had just been renovated or the smell came from the shop downstairs.
Since we had a trip scheduled, we left our bags there and went to enjoy the day.
So we came back at night, and the smell of paint was so strong that I started having a lot of headaches. We chose to abandon this hotel and continue travel even if it was late.
Do not recommend. Well improvised place.
I just didn't rate it as bad in consideration to the reception boys, who were extremely kind during the time we were there.
