Bad points: wi-fi in the room just doesn't work. Lack of sockets in the room and a chair to sit.

Remake or repair the sidewalks. Most are poorly cared for making it difficult to move around easily. have to take into account that many tourists are old. In some tourist places also need to be made adaptations. Missing ramps and several places.

Cost benefit. Excellent location
Location: excellent, we did everything on foot, day or night. Security: we didn't have any problems. Cleaning/Housekeeping: they were good, as expected. Service: they were attentive when we needed them. Breakfast: it was good, good variety and replacement. On Sunday there was a man playing the violin. Room: the bed was comfortable, there was no air conditioning, there was no safe, the furniture was sufficient, there was a nice view, the space was good, the TV had few channels. It's an old hotel, very nice. Silence: we had no problem with noise. Bathroom: a little cramped, small. For women, there is no hairdryer. Restaurant: we only use it for breakfast. Wi-fi: worked well. Swimming pool: none. Elevators: has 1; the hotel has 1 floor. Parking: there is none, it is about 500m from the hotel and costs R$25.00 per day. The city: It's a quieter walk, it's very pretty and safe, like in the countryside. We stayed more in the central area, where the main points are. It appeared to be very calm. The cable car to Morro do Cristo is really cool, but it costs R$60.00 per person (there is half-price according to legislation), so go prepared. We recommend trying craft beer at the municipal market. There is a very good and cheap restaurant also next to the market.
In fact, we enjoyed the journey, as we left Piracicaba and on the way we passed by the Kaynã farm (coffee and cornmeal) and Casa Geraldo (winery). On the way back we stopped at the Irarema (olive oil) farm and had lunch in Águas da Prata.
We would come back!

Hotel Minas Gerais
Limpeza ok. Quartos confortaveis. Atendimento otimo, em especial dos garcons. Opções de lazer variadas. Duas quadras da praça principal e do comércio. Vários passeios turísticos podem ser feitos a pé e muitos ficam a pouca distancia. Bons restaurantes nas proximidades.
