My group of 17 just returned from a stay at the Windsor. They staff is great, the location was convenient and the hotel is perfect. I highly recommend.

Close proximity to Copocabana Beach!
This hotel is in a fantastic location, only 3 small blocks (short walk) to Copocabana Beach. Great view from the roof top bar pool area. Breakfast offered a selection of hot and cold dishes. The only let-down for this hotel is that the rooms are very small. We barely had space for our suitcases and our window view was the apartment building next door. That being said, beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was good and for a short stay the hotel is adequate. We had to ask for our room to be made up each day and towels to be replaced which was a little frustrating. The main restaurant did not open till 7pm which was a little late for us but there are plenty of dining options very close to the hotel so it was not a problem.

Disappointed
Excellent location, but that is where it ends. The room was tiny and old. Not enough room to open suitcases. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper because housekeeping were so slack. Bar closes 6pm till 7pm for the barman to have dinner. Not much choice for dinner or breakfast and what was available lacked taste. 2 stars.

Wouldn’t go back
We booked on line and the manager would not honor our booking price. He was rude and the process took over an hour. It cost more than $100 than original price. Sink water was yellow , bathroom had lots of mold. One of our blankets looked to be stained with blood. Not towel cards given . We have stayed in many hotels at this was one of the worst experiences. Manger said his name was Edwardo , tho he didn’t have a name tag on. The only good thing about the resort was the location.

Excellent location close to the beach. Staff are professional and helpful. The pool isn’t heated but probably not a problem given the weather and sea options nearby.
