Vacation Getaway

My husband and I went Villa Roma Resort. It was a great time. The experience we had, with the front desk Kelly and the young girl, cafe waitress Linda, dining room servers Andrea, Benjamin and Marie were fantastic. Very friendly and outgoing. Even the maids that cleaned the rooms and just the workers walking the halls were very pleasant. The food was phenomenal every day that we were there. From the breakfast, lunch and dinner. The entertainment was very good. Can't wait to go back.

The receptionist was one old rude lady. She didn’t let me go to my room and didnt let me eat lunch although the other coleague told me i can eat. It was a terrible week for me.

Worse place to stay with awful food

The worst hotel I have been. We stay in Albena every Summer,first time in this hotel.Cold food,no microwave also. No variety for the food.Tasteless. you can see the flies on the food trays as the food its cold.the rooms are dirty, blankets and pillows dirty ,the bathroom is disgusting- with some yellow and orange slime around the toilet. Rubbish under the bed from the people before. We stayed only for 4 days,I am glad I didn't book more.My husband got some bug the first day and stayed in the room the rest of the holiday. Just very bad management and staff. I would not recommend this place at all.

REWARD SYSTEM SUCKS

The Rewards System Sucks. I called the International Rewards Call Center and gave them my Rewards Number, Location and dates I needed 2 rooms. Was put on hold 3 different times for over 3 hours listening the the same music over and over, then disconnected on each call. Purpose of the visit was to attend my Mothers Funeral.
I called the Hotel direct and told them my problem. They had not received my reservation from the International Call Center. I booked the 2 rooms direct and the clerk said she would get the points applied. I discussed my problem with 3 different clerks during my stay. All said the points were applied. Upon check out the clerk said my points were applied. The bill she gave me was full charge without points applied. She lied to me about my Rewards Points.
I have stayed at many Holiday Inns and have been able to walk up without reservation to the front desk and get points applied. Do not expect using Reward points at this location. They will not tell you the truth. Hope you do not notice and go on your way.

Luxury Studio with pool 27 Albufeira

I will never advise anyone to stay or book with booking .com. again.
Where we are staying is shocking .
It is in a block of Studio's in a run down area of Albufeira can't sleep for the traffic going past window.
It's listed as Luxury Studio 27 with pool I have still to find pool.
