Strongly Recommend for Families - Great Service and Food

We had an excellent family stay at Premier Luxury Mountain Resort in Bansko. We booked half board, including breakfast and dinner, and found the resort extremely welcoming and accommodating for our three young children.
The service was excellent from check-in to checkout. The front desk upgraded us at no additional charge so our family would be more comfortable, which we greatly appreciated. Our kids loved both the outdoor pool and the indoor spa pool, as well as the thoughtfully designed kids’ room.
The spa was excellent and appeared newly renovated. The poolside food was another highlight—we tried the pizza, burgers, and fries, and everything was top-notch. Both breakfast and dinner offered generous buffet selections with very good food, especially for buffet-style dining. The freshly made breakfast crepes were outstanding.
Overall, the combination of genuinely friendly service, quality food, excellent facilities, and a family-friendly atmosphere exceeded our expectations—especially coming from the United States. We would strongly recommend this resort, particularly to families traveling with young children.

If you travel with a baby - Nothing to do with 5 stars

We stayed at the hotel with my wife and our 8-month-old daughter. The hotel has 5 stars only on the sign, as the services and hospitality do not even match 3 stars.
• Childcare: The staff explicitly refused to put our ice packs in the freezer, which were necessary to keep our baby's food in the portable refrigerator. Unbelievable indifference to a baby's health.
• Hygiene: The indoor pool smelled strongly of mold and the water temperature was completely unsuitable and uncontrolled.
• Infrastructure: The air conditioning in room (205) was prehistoric and useless for the summer needs. The knob on the toilet door was broken.
• Customer Service & Broken Promises: We asked for a shaving kit and information about the electric car (EV) charger, but they ignored us. In the morning, the management promised us a partial cash refund for the inconvenience, and then they took it back with cheap excuses. When we asked for the manager, they told us that he comes "once a month." Far

Great amenities, awkward service

Great hotel, I loved the spa area, the saunas were very relaxing and there were many pools. I didn't go to the restaurant because it was quite expensive, but that's expected from a luxury hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the views were beautiful. I did get a bit scared tho from staff cuz the receptionist seemed a bit fed up and rolled her eyes when I said my key card wasn't working, but she was probably just tired.

Very Disappointing – Far from a Fully Renovated 5-Star Experience

This was our second stay at Premier Luxury Mountain Resort. Our first visit was more than five years ago, when we stayed in the hotel's best suite, and everything was absolutely flawless. We returned because the hotel is now advertised as being "fully renovated."
Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The renovation feels incomplete, with many details looking rushed and poorly finished. The biggest disappointment was the spa. The water had an extremely strong chemical smell, and both of us experienced skin irritation and itching after using the pools.
Compared to our first visit, the decline in quality is significant. We left feeling disappointed and would not return, even if the stay were free.

Rest and Spa

We repaired this hotel in combination with a 4-day ski trip. Bansko is known for its hotels with spa facilities for discharge after skiing. The combination worked very well. Alex (spa receptionist) was very helpful and always willing to serve. The rooms were recently renovated and still face some malfunctions but nothing that made our stay difficult. The restaurant would not recommend it but for coffee and snacks there is also the hotel coffee that is enough.
