True gem hidden in the little streets of Old Bansko

Todeva Kashta is a true gem.
Hidden in the little streets of Bansko’s Old Town, away from the hustle and bustle of the main pedestrian area, this restaurant is well worth seeking out.
The host is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He took the time to walk us through the entire menu, explaining how each dish is prepared. Most of the food is homemade, and many of the recipes are prepared a little differently from what you’ll find in other traditional restaurants.
We tried the lyutenitsa, kyopolu, homemade bread, patatnik, vegetable sarmi, the house salad, and the pork sausage. Everything was absolutely delicious.
I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bansko.

Sampling the delights of Bulgarian food at the Todeva Tavern

Went to this little gem of a restaurant to sample Bulgarian food for a family birthday.
Michael,the host,took the time to explain the menu & wine to us.
We loved the food & the local red wine was
amazing.
Sat out in the cozy courtyard with the
tables decked with the traditional red wool
tablecloths.

A Cozy and Welcoming Place to Stay

Todeva House is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the garden is a true delight – green, beautifully landscaped with flowers, and perfect for relaxing. There is convenient on-site parking, which is a great advantage. What impressed us the most was the warm hospitality of the host, who made us feel right at home. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere.
