Nice hotel, great pool

The hotel is nice, there is a beautiful green garden and a really decent restaurant with a variety of local specialties. But what I liked the most was the swimming pool. Its water is mineral and there is a hot tub next to it - also with mineral water. The weather wasn't warm, but the water temperature was high, so it was a really good experience to stay in all the time. The pool is open until 22:00, so I could make the most of it. The breakfast was OK and the staff was friendly.

Average

For me the main road is bad place to situate the hotel. There is a bad view on the east side also. The town is not interesting. Otherwise the staff is nice and the food is good. The best thing there are the pools, no doubt.

A not pleasant experience

Flat beds, pain on the back, a bit noisy the days I stayed. Kind of uncomfortable traffic of semi nude people at the reception because of the spa pool outside the main building.Nice garden, friendly staff, rich spirit menu.

A decent place to stay

The hotel is located on the main road and easy to find. The rooms are clean, well heated. We were given a triple room first - however the bed for the kid was a small inconvnient sofa. In addition the room was soaked with a smell of cigarrettes. We changed the room for a small flat, spacious enough for the three of us. There were no hangers either in the room or in the bathroom for your coats and towels.
The staff is friendly and willing to help.
What I found strange is that breakfast is not included in the price (which is not that low) and you have to pay it additionally. The food is good.
The pool is big enough with warm water and is open 24/7. However it definitely needs some good cleaning - there are many mold particles floating in the water, the walls of the pool are all covered with these black particles. Otherwise, if you are cool enough and do no pay attention to thi, it is nice to swim and watch the stars in the cold evenings.
I would not recommend you to stay over the weekend as the place is really crowded during this time unless you enjoy really noisy places.

Motel Dolna Banq

Very frustrating place. I would visit the hotel again. A decent hotel if you have no other option for the night. Staff is willing to work and is the only plus of complex Motel Dolna Banya. In the bathrooms there is no pressure and adventure person to take a shower. The pool is "zhaburnyak" let the warm mineral water only when completely empty. The food is delicious, but more expensive than in the capital, which is outrageous.
