Quite and peaceful place

If you want to escape the rush and crowd of the big city, this is the place. Quiet and peaceful house with friendly owners. Tihomir speaks fluently German and Nusha is good at English. Inhouse prepared food with local ingredients.

Excellent stay at excellent price

We stayed just for one night in Hitar Petar hotel in Gabrovo but this was enough to estimate the excellent services provide by the owner of the place and his wife. They both are hospitable, nice people who will take care of you to make your stay there as pleasant as possible. The room was clean and newly furnished, bathroom was excellent. About food you can have breakfast and/or dinner on spot and you can choose from as menu a la carte. Dishes are prepared with local, very delicious products. While you are enjoying your meal you can have a friendly relaxing chat with the owners. The hotel is located very close to a number of places worth to be seen – the Open Air Ethnographic museum “Etar”, Sokolski monastery, Interactive museum of Industry in Gabrovo. Next spring we will be there again for more than one day. Strongly recommend!

My home in Bulgaria

Hitar Petar is my home in Bulgaria, Nusha and Tihomir my family. The way in which they care the customers is extraordinarly professional, close, friendly and familiar. The kitchen is very well managed by Nusha and the rooms are in steady improvement. They are spacious, clean and comfortable. My congratulations to this couple for a job very well done.

Very nice Hotel, almost in the middle of nowhere. Nice surprise.

Very warm welcome by the owner. The room was really clean and well-kept and since it was unusually cold outside they were kind enough to turn the bathroom heating on, just for us, because we were the only people in the entire hotel. Dinner was amazing, so was breakfast. Lots of personal attention by the owners. Just a little note, discussion about local politics is best avoided in this part of Bulgaria. Would stay there again!

Excellent

We arrived only for one night but it was enough to be impressed from the warm welcoming and comfortable conditions. The room was very clean and larg. Everything in the room was new and great.
The housts are vary nice and worm people and treated us with fairness. The food was great.
We warmly recommend!!!
