Recommended!
We stayed for 2 nights.
The hotel rooms were comfortable, very clean and equipped with all you need. Thanks to the closeness to the dam, the views from the hotel rooms are amazing. Beware - you could be tempted to spend the whole day on the terrace! :)
We were quite impressed by the professional and kind attitude of the waiters in the hotel restaurant. The menu was quite diverse (enough options for vegetarians!) and the meals - well prepared.
Unfortunately the temperatures weren't high enough to enjoy the swimming pool (would be nice to have some warm water) so we are definitely coming back!
I highly recommend Rocca resort to anyone who would like to spend some relaxing time surrounded by beautiful nature and high-quality service!

Unacceptable
We arrived late after a long journey and booked the last available room for nearly €90. Around 1AM, the shower malfunctioned, continuously spewing scalding hot water into the bathroom with no way to turn it off or switch it properly, which turned the entire room into a sauna.
Instead of an apology or immediate solution, the receptionist was visibly annoyed she had to deal with it and wake up the owner and made a few passive-aggressive comments. Because there were no spare rooms, we had to wait until past 3:00 AM for the owner to arrive from town to replace the fixture.
When the owner finally arrived, he completely ignored us, did not say a word, offered no apology and openly snapped at the receptionist while at one point another random person came in to peek into our room. We were left unable to sleep until well after 3:30 AM.
At morning checkout, the staff charged full price, offered zero price adjustment or apology for the ruined night, and accepted the cash payment, giving me only the change without a mandatory fiscal receipt (касов бон). Not sure if one was issued or not. Completely unprofessional and zero regard for guest safety or comfort.

Can do better
A fairly elegant setting, despite the fairly loud music.
The prices are high and do not correspond to the quality of the service: the waiter forgot 2/3 of the order, so we waited a very long time without him saying a word of apology or a small gesture.
In short, pretentious but not up to par.

Restaurant
I came here with my friends and family, the service was really bad. They did not come to our table to give us menu for 20minutes. We had to go and get our own menu. We waited so long for them to bring our food. They tried to say the people that stay at the hotel have more priority when it comes to the restaurant which is very disappointing. I would never recommend this hotel to and of my friends and family.

Suitable for short stay
I will start with the positive sides:it was very clean in the villa and outside, kind hotel staff, beautiful view. Unfortunately there were some maybe small things,but personally for me problems: cold water in the pool, a lot of stairs, which are dangerous for small children, not suitable food for small children - there weren't any soups and the quality of the food in the restaurant not correspond to the price, not good organization of the parking lots.
