A luxury stay in a historic village
This hotel is located in a rural area, with beautiful mountain views and tastefully decorated common spaces. The room was beautiful, in rustic but elegant style and with views of the outside, extremely clean and with a super-comfortable and fluffy bed where we slept wonderfully.
In addition to the usual complimentary water and coffees, there were also a couple of bottles of white wine in the room, which we found quite a detail. The bathroom was spotless and had all the necessary accessories for a comfortable stay: bathrobe, slippers, etc.
The à la carte breakfast was really very good, with different options to choose from and the possibility to try local specialities such as feta banitsa, or mekitsi, and friendly and careful attention.
However, what we didn't like so much was that the pool didn't work... it was almost empty and with dirty water. They told us they were cleaning it, but the feeling was that it was just closed and the next day it was exactly the same. At a hotel in this category, I think at least they should have given advance notice.
Apart from that, the hotel is a little removed from the historical area of the village, although you can walk in five minutes without problem, although when we were there it had rained and the access road, which was dirt and full of potholes, was completely puddled. That didn't invite us out to dinner in the village and we ended up staying at the hotel which, on the other hand, has an excellent restaurant. In my review would not cost too much to fix the access road to the hotel.
Another thing that surprised us is that in reception we asked for a map of the village and they looked at us as if we had gone to ask for something unusual... they had none and only knew how to give us a brochure in Bulgarian with information about the houses to visit because they had nothing in English (or any other language). In a hotel like this they should have some information for international travelers...
Despite the above, the hotel is highly recommended and the value for money of our stay there was excellent... an option to consider if you want to have a luxury for a night and they sort out some small details.

An Absolutely Amazing Hotel in a Stunning Location
This is an absolutely amazing hotel! We have stayed in quite a number of hotels in Bulgaria – but this is definitely the best. This is a beautiful area filled with history. The village is well worth a visit, but the hotel is worth the trip even if you never go outside!
The hotel is very tastefully decorated – extremely stylish. The restaurant is incredible. The staff are all wonderful. We had a beautiful and comfortable bedroom with a very comfortable bed. And the spa is very relaxing and clean. We even got a champagne welcome! I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Sin lugar a dudas uno de los mejores hoteles en los que he estado nunca. El edificio es precioso en una casa del renacimiento búlgaro. Decorado con mucho gusto. Habitación súper amplia con un montón de detalles, agua, botellita de vino tinto, blanco. Recibimiento con copa de vino. El spa expectacular y qué decir del desayuno, delicioso. No es bufet pero nos ofrecieron 5 tipos diferentes de desayuno completisimos, que nos dejaron elegir tantos como quisiéramos, pero con uno tuvimos suficiente. El personal muy amable en todo momento incluso en el spa nos ofrecieron bebida de cortesía toda la que quisiéramos. Sin duda hay que alojarse aquí, sin pensármelo repetiría.

Espectacular hotel en un pueblo muy bonito. Lo mejor de nuestro viaje de 8 dias por Bulgaria, sencillamente fabuloso el hotel y el servicio.
El restaurante es muy bueno, increible para un pueblo tan pequeño, el cocinero que tienen merece una visita.
Fuimos para un dia y nos quedamos tres, el pueblo hay que verlo, se pueden hacer rutas por la monaña y el hotel tiene un spa que esta muy bien.
El personal muy atento y servicial.
