Friendly hotel

A older looking hotel possible in the 80s but still fabulous as we discovered a lot of hitels and bars were of the same . Staff were polite and accommodating . Meals weren’t the best so we ate at bars outside of the hotel . The size of the room was more the size of an apartment . Straight from the hotel we caught the ski bus

Very average and too expensive for what it is

I cannot say that this is a good hotel for the price that we paid.
The staff I must say are super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are super dated even though the hotel is very new. Rooms are very spacious though which is nearly unseen nowadays. The free breakfast in the morning is decent but it gets super busy and you need to share tables with other guests. The hotel isn't close to the centre at all - you would really need to get a taxi if you are going for dinner, as the road you need to walk on is not light up. The spa is okay - dated again but honestly it does the job, however that's very busy also. Cleaners aren't very good as they hadn't even left us new towels. One thing that I absolutely hated was the bed - honestly the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Every morning that I woke up it felt like I wasn't able to get up, so I wouldn't recommend this place if you like your sleep and you are fussy on beds, as this one isn't good. I would say for the price this hotel is charging I would go for something cheaper that is maybe not as nice but really would work out the same.
It is close to the skiing resort though maybe a 10/15min walk on the main street, so that's good.

One of the best hotels in Pamporovo!

Hotel Pamporovo is one of the best hotels in Pamporovo resort. I was there on 14th of December 2013. Everything was excellent! It is one of the best biggest hotels there. In Pamporovo there are so many hotels and restaurants for tourists, but in the hotel is everything in one place!

Delicious restaurant, pleasant staff

Usually I ski in the Alps but this year we stayed in Bulgaria due to the resorts in France and Austria being closed. I was pleasantly delighted with the warm spacious room with a view over the mountains, kind staff from reception (who calmly and quickly fixed a problem we had with our reservation), the ski rental shop, ski bus drivers and the manager of the restaurant and waiters who were all very professional and welcoming. The food was delicious and our favourite part of the staying here. Fresh and different salads and soups every day followed by meat, fish and vegetable options both traditional Bulgarian and mainstream. We also had a fun evening in the games room with bowling and air hockey. Sadly the swimming pool was shut due to Covid but we saw it, its quite large. I do see many negative reviews here, I think the hotel is making a huge effort to improve and I don't believe those negative reviews are current. The only negative point the hotel still needs to work on is actually cleaning the rooms, it seemed the cleaning ladies only make beds and not much else. We would gladly return.

Extremely warm

Just spent the one night here check in staff were great and friendly spoke good English
Our room was very dated but clean balcony had a fabulous view of the mountains but our gripe was the heat no way to regulate the temperature only to open the balcony door so not ideal
Had a half board option the food was typical Bulgarian but found something to eat so was fine breakfast again plenty of choice but fresh made waffles were delicious
Staff were on the whole friendly and helpful and would stop here again
