Good location, comfortable, good value and friendly staff.

Location of hotel was excellent and in center of Thimphu and easily walkable to eateries and shops. My room (deluxe with king bed) was very comfortable and clean with view of football stadium next door and mountain side. Bathroom had hot water all day with good water pressure in the shower. The wood panelling on one wall set up gave a warm cozy feeling. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good value, excellent location in Thimphu and friendly helpful staff

I stayed for two nights and my room was cozy but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite.
The location is very good in center of main Thimphu city and walkable to most shopping and restaurants and sights. The outdoor patio dining area is nice on a sunny morning or evenings. I tried the dosa and a local dish of beans and cheese dish which were both delicious. I would definitely recommend visiting!

Excellent experience !

I highly recommend The Willows - the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The room was perfect, spacious and comfortable. The wifi is reliable. Overall, this turned out to be excellent value for money.

Happy Bhutan

The majestic 3 star premium hotel with jolly staff.
The view is so mesmerizing from the room and the room is unbelievably clean. The staffs are all kind and jolly with smiley face.

Going downhill

This hotel used to be great. Staff are still friendly and trying hard but the hotel is not what it used to be. I've had to bar my room door as staff keep trying to come in to "check" on the room. It's kindly meant, but it's only politeness to knock on a guest's door first, surely.
Breakfast is limited and not fresh. I requested an omelet and was told I'd have to make do with fried eggs from the Bain Marie. After putting them on my plate I realised they were cold. I begrudgingly got a freshly fried egg; the waitress then put the older eggs, which I had touched, back in the Bain Marie. I'm definitely looking for another hotel next visit

We agree that guests' privacy should always be respected and prioritized, and staffs should knock and receive a response before entering a room. The lack of fresh options, your request for an omelette not being accommodated, and particularly the handling of the eggs after they had been placed on your plate fall well below our expected food service and hygiene standards. We take this feedback extremely seriously and are investigating the matter with our food and beverage team.
We value your loyalty and are genuinely sorry to hear that you are considering alternative accommodation for future visits. Feedback from returning guests is especially important to us, as it helps us identify where improvements are needed.
