Located in the historical centre of the town on the main square, the hotel offers luxury accommodation and views of the historical town. The rooms are designed individually in Art Deco style and all offer views of the historical square. The restaurants serve both local cuisine and traditional Czech and Viennese cuisine, offering food of the highest quality using local organic produce and home-made dishes complemented by tank beer. The UNESCO historical town of Český Krumlov can be found 17 km from the Zvon Design Suites and the Hluboká nad Vltavou Castle can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The Senovážné náměstí Bus Stop is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and the České Budějovice Train Station is 15 minutes on foot away.

A room with a view

Spacious room with a superb view on the town hall and market square. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast. Quiet place with nearby restaurants. Parking. Nice staff. Good option for short stay in southern Czechia. Czesky Krumlov, Holoubka, Trebon and Telč in the short car distance.

Wonderful rooms but terrible staff

My girlfriend and I booked the Junior Suite in this hotel for a weekend.
The room was perfect: clean, large, with a comfortable bed etc. The staff was terrible. I called several time to inform that we had to arrive late (after 1 am) and they said it was ok, when we arrived the woman at the reception said "I do not have a reservation with this name!", then she realized that she was reading the name instead of the surname than she found our reservation. Instead of apologize she continued saying "anyway it's late for the check-in" and she gave the keys continuing to complay.
That is not the end of the story. The last morning the same person decided to call us 40 minutes before the checkout time asking to leave the room in 10 minutes "because they have to clean the room". Obviously we decided to leave the room at the right time (written in the booking receipt) and when we arrived to the checkout desk she started again to complay we where late (that was not true!). I tried to pay with a credit card that did not work and she removed it and slammed it down angrily. When the checkout was finished she even did not greet us.
I hope the manager of the hotel will fire such a terrible employee.
All the other things (and people) where ok. The breakfast was not extraordinary, at least for a 5 stars hotel, but enough. The Zvon Restaurant was very good, we enjoyed good foods and beers.

Very unfriendly hosts, they did not honor my reservation terms.

I picked a non refundable option because I needed an immediate invoice for my business trip, they charged my credit card but they denied to immediately issue the related invoice, thus making my business trip impossible, I lost my money with them...

A hotel facing the Premysla Otakara II Place.

I stayed in this hotel in December. The Christmas tree and the Christmas market were seen from my room (and they were a little noisy). However, it was a very nice experience to stay alongside the Premysla Otakara II place.

Best location

Had Executive Double rooms that look out over the amazing town square. Considering we were on the square there wasn't much noise coming into the room. Large room with good amenties. Great breakfast in house. Used outside car parking - between 6pm & 8am free which was on the square or close car park. Highly recommend and would go back there.
