Enjoyable stay

I was a little on edge staying here with a 1 year old and 5 year old as I didn't know how they would be with such young children but the lady who greeted us was lovely who we assumed owned the hostel. She showed us places on the map that would be beneficial for us with young children and places to eat that would be good value for money. The room was very cosy and we loved how rustic it all was. The veiw was lovely and my 5 year old loved the balcony. Very good price and so glad we visited cesky and stayed at this hostel. A beautiful home aand beautiful place. We had a lovely stay :)

Really borderline...

It is true that for the location, the Award is very correct, even without breakfast. It is also true that we are very well received, even if we are a little stressed by our car left in the street that must be cleared as soon as possible, for which moreover we will find a free vacant place. Even without asking, we will be explained everything, with a city plan to support it. Well, clearly, I think our guests, even if there are two of them, it’s better to count on them to party or smoke a joint, than to clean up in rented places: I think I’ve never seen so many cobwebs in a bathroom to name just one example. An experience in its own right. The bedding smells not of fabric softener, but of moisture. It can also be holed. The insulation is non-existent since there is only one floor between the upper and lower bedrooms, so you enjoy everything. Personally, I really couldn't live in such a shack. One bathroom for 4 bedrooms is also very limited. Another point, owners: a contract is a contract that is entered into at the time of sale and that it is not possible to add clauses once the service is paid and the holidaymakers are on site! Thus, we are taught when handing over the keys that we are allowed only one shower per person and a duration of 8 minutes maximum! I strongly support raising awareness of more savings, but not a last minute change in the rules of the game... Good hearing, hi.

Lovely hosts and a charming, beautiful hostel full of character.

We had a lovely stay in hostel skippy. We only stayed for one night but would happily stay here again for much longer. It would be the perfect place for a little arts or writing/ reading retreat, in a quiet and charming room next to the river. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, clearly enjoying their lives and wishing for everyone that stays with them to do the same. Thanks ever so much for having us, I’m sure you’ll see us again.

I got steaky fleas

I don't know if the reason is that we had booked a room right in front of the river, but I got steak fleas. Maybe they hadn't understood that the mattresses need to be cleaned in the fresh air. Maybe now the conditions are better

A nice quiet stay

Friendly host! A small quiet place, cool deck overlooking the river where you can sit and chill - just perfect for me :) It's a bit of walk from the bus station but it's a really nice and quiet - good place to rest after a couple of weeks of travels! I had the whole dorm all by myself as it's a offseason. The owner also made a really good coffee for me and helped me a lot with my transportation to my next destination.
