Good hotel
Pleasant hotel in a quiet residential area a few kilometers from the center. Courteous and professional welcome; well-kept environments and a spa with a pool. Convenient and affordable parking in the inner courtyard. Spacious and clean rooms. Good breakfast with a prevalence of savory products. Excellent restaurant with traditional cuisine. Attractive prices

Lowest canteen level as part of half board, unfriendly service partially, little to no flexibility
The half board meal a single disaster. The level corresponds to lowest canteen food. Everything is geared only to cheap, allergies are hardly taken into account and the staff are sometimes very unfriendly and not flexible. I just got my plate slammed on the table, even though I ordered something else. Instead of goulash with Kraut (Szeged goulash), I had only ordered goulash and had already communicated this the day before and with the reception management the night before. The waitress had then brought me pork cheeks, although this was not agreed. After I said I wasn't eating this, she furiously took the plate and served it to me 5 minutes later without pork cheeks with the comment: Then they just eat sauce and dumplings and left after she slammed the plate on my table. I then tried to sort it out at the reception and after some back and forth with the other service I was served goulash, but once again from the pig. This was not the first such incident.
The next morning I discussed this matter-of-factly with the management, who apologised for it. In the future she wants me to order food from her, but unfortunately she is not always present.
Breakfast spartan for a supposed 4 star hotel, always the same.
The eye does not eat in this context at any time.
Rooms fine, wellness area fine, with steam bath not even switched on.
Spa treatments all in all good.
The hotel does not correspond to 4 stars.
We now eat mostly away above ground, because the food has nothing to do with recreation, let alone the almost daily hassle with most of the staff in the service.
We cannot therefore make a Recommendation unless someone is satisfied with such a standard.
The other evaluations are therefore incomprehensible.
Cleanliness is given everywhere, rusted radiators in the bathroom times unmentioned.

Great hotel with nice pool
We stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed it very much. It was very clean everywhere, nice staff, which speaks perfectly sufficient, sometimes even very good German. Our room was equipped with timeless high-quality hotel furniture and even without a minibar at least the fridge was available, as was a fan at 30 degrees outside. Even a mosquito repellent was attached to one of the windows. In addition to TV in national language, there were also min. 10 German channels available. A very nice and absolutely sparkling clean indoor pool with max 1.30m depth and a hot tub are available as well as saunas (not interesting for us, therefore not visited) and on request you can book a private hot tub for 30 euros per hour. However, after we first went to the pool area, we were of the opinion that there was no need for the private hot tub. The food very good and at good prices, which we no longer get in DE, so you can easily order one of the delicious appetizers or a dessert. The typical breakfast buffet was okay, but since we travel often, I wouldn't call it grandiose or special. Everyone gets fed up there and it is also varied.
The billing was correct on every point - very clear Recommendation of the hotel, especially since it is also quiet and has enough parking.
There are also parking costs and a tourist tax, which are really small.

It’s a Wellness and Spa Hotel and I failed to make an appointment for the Services.
My room wasn’t cleaned during my stay and it’s inconvenient for elderly to walk up the stairs to the upper rooms.

Fine if you don't want any activity
A Spa-wellness hotel in Cheb. Outside the center. A hotel with a typical interior, rather old-fashioned by our standards. Excellent room and bed and a good menu with delicious dishes. But beware, everything closes at 9 p.m. (Friday, Sat until 10 p.m.) after that no more drinks, not on the terrace. Was a disappointment. Many seniors with a half/full board arrangement.
