If you only do one think in Chrastava-must stop by

We've decided to spend a family weekend here and it was an amazing time.
The hotel has 15 lovely rooms, each with 2 queen size beds and one sofa. We really loved the heated bathroom floor. The room made comes every day to change the towels and cleanup the room. She always folds some animals of the towel. All the hotel is clean. Fast WiFi for free everywhere.
The furniture is made out of oak, wooden carvings of the horses are all over, the design of the restaurant and the hotel is amazing.
The staff is super duper friendly and professional. Waitresses are always smiling, it was no problem to get a late checkout, we appreciated it.
The restaurant has a small place for the kids to play, it also has a fireplace which was very useful in the winter. The food was OK, also the breakfast was good, we'd just appreciate more fresh fruit. It's been a long time since I have had such a good espresso. Maybe we missed any healthy food for children.
Right from the restaurant you can watch an indoor horse back riding. Its suitable for experienced riders and the beginners as well. Our kids tried it for the first time and loved it. However the most relaxing is just to enjoy the surroundings and be with these amazing animals and people. All of the 60 horses are brilliant and well looked after.
Thank you again for the great experience and memories. We'll be back one day.

Excellent services, but the chef should bother

We stayed with two other families to enjoy a longer weekend packed with horse riding.
Speaking about hotel services, I have no complains. While not all rooms seem to be entirely spacious, we had a larger one (you may probably ask the reception, AFAIK there is no price difference). It was all quiet despite a wedding celebration happening. Hotel staff was very friendly and supportive. In my opinion, the staff is of a typical czech approach - no servility at all, if you show some positive attitude, you are rewarded with a great service. Grumpy guests will get "rewarded" too.
While the hotel was exquisite, the restaurant was exactly the opposite. However much waitresses tried to save the situation, the chef clearly wasn't in the mood (and reviewing guest notes, he probably never is). It took easily 3/4 an hour to get the food and the result frequently needed us to be really hungry to accept it.
Buffet type breakfast was fine with somewhat narrower selection, yet good quality.
Overall, the hotel was perfect, horses were fantastic and it is always possible to eat out. We already plan to come again.

Great potential unfulfilled

The idea of a farm hotel is great, all the decor connected with horses is well thought out, the window from the restaurant to the ridding hall is amazing. The food is also quite good. Unfortunately the management has decided to forgo much of the organisation. There is a beautiful reception desk, but no receptionist, you have to do all the hotel staff at the restaurant bar. If you want extras like massages you have to call yourself. The rooms are large and nice - especially the bathrooms, but no kettle, no fridge. There is a kitchenette at the end of the corridor, which we were told we could use, but when we needed it, it was closed. Lots of space is wasted as storage, so on the way to the kitchen there are rooms filled with unused furniture. This space could surely find better use - a designated massage room, perhaps even some sort of wellness area. Also the hotel is showing wear and not much effort to fix it or at least conceal it - holes in the walls, etc. Also we had one unpleasant experience with breakfast - which was otherwise quite nice, local produce and all - when we came at 8.50 and there was barely anything left and the staff wouldnt refill... So to sum up, could be a lovely place, but needs serious changes to the way things are managed...

Visit to Chrastava

My visit to Chrastava was to see the Festival and I was not disappointed the accommodation food service. All the staff were kind and very helpful both inside the Hotel and outside There is plenty of things to do like Horse riding ,walking Skiing not far away .Lebric also near I will be returning again next year Trevor Thorneycroft UK

Jídlo bylo v pořádku, pro rodiny s dětmi je toto velmi vhodný podnik
Jediné vytknutí mám ke koberci v dětském koutku, smrdí močí.
Restaurace má denní menu a případné akce, např: valentýnské menu.
