Satisfaction guaranteed

You won't regret your trip to Dubenec for this restaurant. The friendly waitress will be happy to advise you, but you really can't make a mistake when choosing the dishes. Follow your appetite.
The current top of the menu saddle of venison with chestnut puree and cranberry sauce is a real culinary highlight. We highly recommend it.
The prices for food and beverages are still fair. You should reserve a table in advance, especially on weekends, as the restaurant is very popular.
This former parsonage is relatively easy to find thanks to many signs on the access roads. There is a large car park in front.
The well-structured website, which includes the current menu, is available in Czech, English and German. Apparently, a Polish version of the website is obviously in preparation. However, news and information about the weekly menu and special weekend offers are only available in Czech.

Disappointment.

Disappointment. Spaghetti with asparagus contained 2 cherry tomatoes, 1 chopped asparagus, sprinkled with a little cheese, nothing more, dry, tasteless. Pork knuckle totally fatty. Both were returned. Next attempt pork tenderloin was again tasteless, with overcooked sweet kale. Don't go there....

surprisingly good and bad at the same time

While the restaurant, specialised on czech cuisin is excellent, and the service very polite (waiter speaks German), the breakfast was mediocre (good, but very only very small selection).
The room was far from my expectation. Offered as "standard 3 bed room", it was in fact a small chamber, crammed with three beds, no furniture aside 2(!) night stands. Not even a single hook, to hang a jacket or towel. Bathroom shared with neighbouring room, as is the ante room (where wardrobes are). So, basically hostel standard at the max. For that, and the location (rural area, far away from everywhere) a bill of approx. 73 Euros is far from being acceptable.

One of our favourite restaurants in Eastern Bohemia

Since opening in 2013, we always like to come to this restaurant in a former church house, which has been very elaborately renovated and modernized.
The very different themed weekend menus are a nice reason to visit this restaurant. The Australian menu in March was (again) a direct hit. We were very satisfied. The standard menu, which is regularly updated, consists of many very good offers. You can actually make no mistake when ordering.
In addition to smaller (family) celebrations directly in the rooms of the restaurant, it can also accommodate larger groups of people (for weddings, for example) in the recently renovated barn.
Stylishly furnished hotel rooms are also offered.
And best of all, their prices are still at a reasonable level over all these years.
Seeing and tasting is believing. Don't be left out.

nice food

Very nice place with friendly staff. Really delicious czech cuisine. We had cream vegetable sauce which was very delicious. Gastronomy is traditional but with modern attitude which I appreciate. Food service was on high level. Sleeping quality was nice and the breakfast was not really rich but sufficient. Homemade pastry was splendid. We will be back :-)
