Don't judge a book by its cover

We have been coming here for 16 years and eat there once every year during the holidays. It is not a modern restaurant with trendy tables, but rather old-fashioned. But the food is excellent and they serve Dudak beer. We keep coming back when we are in the Czech Republic.

Worst dump ever!

Avoid. Pictures are from a completely different hotel. This hotel is disgusting. Ripped and stained crap ancient beds. No curtains. Foul smell. Rude service. Our room door looked as if it had been kicked in a few times.

Teroru ke good, dirty toiletts

Today' s líných, terrible, terrible service and after visiting dirty toiletts, we did not order
other good and Drink. We will neber visiting Hotel Zlaty Jelen!
We were there 10 Years ago, the some terrible service, good and toiletts!

Excellent value

This is an unpretentious typical old fashioned town centre Czech Hotel, in the main square. It is rather cavernous inside and painted in dark colours which makes it a bit forbidding at first impression, however the rooms are large and comfortable. There were tasty breakfast options, and there is a restaurant for evening meals, quite nice food. The hotel was extremely cheap, even by Czech standards, we were rather surprised there were so few other guests, but then again Horažd'ovice, although a very pretty little town, is somewhat off the tourist trail.

Obedy a vecer pivko

K Jelenovi chodim na obed a vecer na pivko! Obedu rychle a chutne. Velky vyber kazdy den. Vecer chodime na pivko! Klostermanna nikde jinde u nas netoci! Jen ty toalety jsou daleko a je tam hrozna zima ted v zime ;-) Obsluha mila a vcelku i rychla...
