Best place to stay and eat when in the Sumava National Forest.

Been to this hotel and restaurant a couple of times. Best in the area. Great place for families. Food is wonderful. Best managed hotel in the Sumava area. Moderate priced for tourist area. Pilsner Urquel beer on draft. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice rooms. Bike storage. Great location. Easy free parking. Clean bathrooms. Excellent service. Definitely recommend. Will be back.

Good place for food and drinks.

Ate here twice during our biking vacation to the Sumava National Park in the Czech Republic. Easy bike or car parking. Clean bathrooms. Lots of seating inside or outside. Plenty of stuff for kids to play on. Playground. You order inside and pay in advance. Good food with many options. Good beer and wine here. Definitely recommend and we will be back. Lot of picnic tables like everywhere in Czech.

Always great

Visited with my wife for late launch and enjoyed typical local dish ( livance se svestkovymi povidly ) . Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service at higher prices . Nice view around beautiful nature .Worth the detour!

The kitchen and food is not good

The restautant is a dissapointment. We had 3 daily menues. The knedlik was supermarket quality, the sauce to the meat was water like and the piece of meat was tasty but small. And that for more money then last year. We will find a nother place next year. Hope the owner reads this and looks into the quality of his kitchen. Thank you for all good years. Tomas V Michalek.

Still the best

Nothing has changed, everything works fine here, location is the gem, rooms are big enough and reasonable equiped. Owner changed old TV for new flat ones. Restaurant found the way how to work and you can get daily menu as well as standard menu, even vegetarian can easily eat here.
