Time out in Karlovy Vary

With a friend I spent 5 nights at the hotel in the 15th century. Floor with fantastic view of Karlovy Vary. Overall, the stay was very positive: very friendly, helpful staff - rich and varied food (we had half board) - very clean (both in the hotel and in the thermal bath). The only downside: the stains on the carpet in our room - they should be removed promptly.

We booked for thermal pool and we enjoyed in thermal area a lot. The room has nice view , equipment was enough but bed was so uncomfortable, pilow was not comfortable, blanket was small for my husband he could not turn other side because not open himself during night, ... i tried to call reception and ask for extra pillow i need to sleep with high pillow but phone did not work. So next time we will go for thermal but not stay at hotel.

1 Painkiller

It was late evening and I broke my tooth. I went into hotel Thermal and asked if they had a painkiller. The resident nurse said no as I was not a resident. I even offered to pay for 1 painkiller.

The best: the thermal pool

Large hotel, modern common areas, not so much room but had a spacious bathroom with a very comfortable two person bathtub. The room had a large balcony with a very nice view of the city. The best thing about the hotel is the possibility of using the thermal pool (the displacement was uncomfortable because the elevator connecting to the area was damaged and you had to wait for a car to take us) but the experience was very pleasant.

Winter break

Our whole experience was exceptional
We really loved the ambience of the hotel The convenience to the town The freshness and cleanness and the amazing views we had from our window
We had two treatments and they were extremely good
Everything was smooth and professional and the facilities particularly the outdoor 38 degree thermal bath with snow around it made this a memorable and unique experience We really enjoyed our time here
