Very nice hotel in fantastic location

Fantastic views of Karlovy Vary from this hotel. My room 201 just happened to be handicap accessible room so my bathroom was extra large. Bed was comfortable but pillows were TOO HUGE. I ended up using one of the decorative pillows as a bed pillow. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. I highly recommend this hotel.

We liked the Hotel and would stay again

This is a small hotel with 30 rooms is located above the town with a fairly steep walk to the center of town, which is a five or ten minute walk away.
We had a nice bright room with good views of the town, and big windows that open.
Our double bed was two singles pushed together. There was a small flat screen TV with two english news channels. The mini fridge was good.
The bathroom and separate toilet room were good but the tub only had a hand held sprayer for showering, so not great if you like to take showers. The tub was difficult to get in and out of, no grab bars!
The buffet breakfast was good.
The town is very high end with very expensive shops and restuarants. The big thing is to drink healing waters from the numerous hot springs located around the town and the valley.
We liked the hotel and would recommend staying here.

Nice hotel with beautiful view over the promenade

I have stayed there a couple of times and I was always very happy. Everything is clean, breakfast very nice, hotel features perfect location right in the centre of historic promenade and there is a lovely view over the Vridlo thermal spring and the Tepla river.

Better than most reviews let expect!

We stayed three nights over the turn of the year. And it was very good:
- the hotel has an exposed hillside situation with a grand look-out over the wonderful old town of Karlovy Vary
- we had an ample room with this great outlook
- the hotel ist located only a few minutes from the historic city center (per feet)
- though the wellness area is without a swimming pool, it has enough other healthy amenity to relax
- the service was good too and the service staff was very polite and very keen to satisfy the guests
- and the food was very good (not as most reviews let expect!)
Only two little things prevents the hotel to get the "excellent" status:
- the bustling waitress tried to get through the guests of the dinner (perhaps to get her leisure-time earlier)
- the female concierge always seemed to be harshly (though she wasn't!)

This not a 4Star Hotel more a 2Star

This is not a 4Star hotel more a 2Star. No bath only shower in most rooms. No safe.No phone next to bed. Small old TV remote intermittently working. Noise from other rooms and corridors. No dead light curtains so light floods in early morning. Old fridge buzzing all night. No real security to enter hotel. Meassages not passed on until asked for. Good location for those who only need the basics..
