Friendly staff, clean hotel, beautiful area

Quaint hotel with a friendly staff. Gave us a great recommendation for dinner down the street (Taverna U Esopa). Rode bikes here from Prague and it was a beautiful scenic ride with trees, cottages, and small towns along the way.
Accommodations were clean and modern. Hot water was a little spotty but that was it.

Lovely stay at the Penzion Vinice

We have stayed at the Penzion Vinice for three nights and were very impressed with the accommodation and service. The room we stayed in was newly decorated, very spacious and with excellent bathroom. Breakfast was very generous and delicious. All members of staff were very helpful and nice. We can highly recommend Penzion Vinice.

After a ride through the nice scenery looking for Karlstejn Castle we stopped here for a drink. I took a cappuccino XL and my wife, who wasn't driving, choosed a Mojito. It was cheap to be honest, only 158 Kč which is about € 6,00. But the Cappuccino was Luke warm and tasted like it was made from recycled coffee and the Mojito had two tiny cubes of ice in it and two drops of Rum. The mint leaves were yellow and it smelled like a dirty kitchen sink. When my wife asked for extra ice the obese waitress just said NO.
That was our cue to leave the place and never return here.

A wonderful stay at the Penzion Karlstejn -Vinice

Our stay here was the highlight of our trip, so much so that we extended pur stay. The staff were very welcoming. Our host's excellent English, and wonderful Clara's happy friemdly manner made us feel very much at home. The position is perfect for day trips to Prague, walking trips in the forest, or visits to neighboring towns, villages and castles, never forgetting their own amazing castle of Karlstejn. With the help from the staff we were never short of varied activities to do during our 6 day stay. The included breakfasts were delicious and we were even driven to the station for our early morning train. What value for money is the Penzion Karlstejn-Vinice! We have NP hesitation in highly recommending this little jewel in this wonderful corner of the world. We rate it a 10!

Nice place

Nice and clean place to stay. The television turned on from itself in the middle of the night. That wasn't nice. But I think they will have solved this small problem. Also good working Wifi available (included).
