Cosy hotel with extremely friendly staff.

Nice and cosy hotel with small brewery
And beer spa.
We forgot or lost our car key, at the hotel but we did n't notice at all.
Somehow the hotel knew that it was our key and we have just received it by mail.
That's service
Good food and beer in the restaurant as well.

Some renovation is necessary

The hotel is not bad and the distance to the city is not too long - but room can be a bit noisy during the night. The heating system is loud and you can hear the ventilation from next rooms.
Yes, the staff is friendly, the owner is a nice guy, there is a lot of parking space but - there is a risk you will not have a good sleep.

At check-in our party got top floor rooms with roof windows facing the sky, but without curtains or blinds - and this in the middle of light summer nigths. However, on request we were instead given ground floor suites - quite an 'upgrade'! Incidentally, there is no servicing of rooms in this hotel and a small bar of soap was all they provided for the bathroom. Breakfast was adequate. In their advertising, Koliba make much out of being a brewery with a Wallachian shepherd's hut as their beer hall, but the latter served mainly as a restaurant and orders for just beer did not meet with smiles. Conclusion: OK for a short stay.

Great little hidden gem

Great location and a little gem of a place and decent venue, unfortunately did not try the beer bath, maybe next time. The double Room was in the block opposite the hotel main block and was great space and onsuite
There own brewed beer is definitely worth a try and not too be missed!

Cute restaurant- you could be in a Beowulf film! No housekeeping will be done.

Cute hotel with a quirky restaurant (hunt much?). I stayed in this place as I was spending some time in Terezin- this was a 10 minute drive away. The rooms are adequate, but to add I never had my room cleaned at all with the exception of the bin being emptied- for a 3 day stay that is ok but for longer it may get grotty. The beds are comfortable, and the shower is lush. There is no a/c and leaving windows is not an option as there were many mosquitoes waiting to come in, I was bitten a fair bit. Worth taking a Czech dictionary for non Czechs as the staff have very limited english. They are all helpful and smiley and that counts for a lot. I would possibly book again.
